We were very pleased with our experiences at this hotel. Check-in was super easy, the staff spoke English, (which was a relief). It had a nice location - close to the pedestrian shopping street and high end stores. We were comfortable walking around the area in the early morning and at night. It was quiet and air-conditioned. The staff was very... More

I stayed here with my husband and his parents who have been here on previous occations. The location is great. You are within walking distance of the Forbidden city. The room was clean and the breakfast selection was great. We had dinner there in the evening a couple of times and the food was good although pretty price compared to... More

The Peninsula is the place to stay in Beijing. It is only a few blocks from Beijing's major attractions... Tiananmen square and the Forbidden City. You can get a ride in the Rolls Royce they park in front... for a hefty price. The rooms are large and nicely appointed with great views of the city. High end stores are located... More

What a wonderful flight to begin with ...Business class only for that long of a flight. Checked into the Peninsula Beijing late in the evening because of flight delay out of Chicago to begin with. The entire staff at the Peninsula were so welcoming and cheerful and could not do enough for me . I was at the Peninsula for... More

I have stayed at other Peninsula hotels, this one is not among the best, but it's still a Peninsula with all the right touches. The rooms are good size, the amenities are good, the wireless is free and the service is second to none. Great location, walk to top sights, and again, it's a Peninsula. More

Beijing has lots of modern hotels which provide needed competition. The Peninsula is a good option, but nowadays the rooms are a bit on the dated side, with older controls and furniture. However, it is very comfortable, and the service is very good. One of the nicest features is the pool...quite large for a downtown hotel and usually quiet. The... More

The hotel is in a great location for tourists- walking distance to Wangfujing, Forbidden City, and Tienanmen Square. High end shopping arcade just downstairs- it's amazing how many fancy, name brand watch, fashion, and auto stores are in Beijing nowadays. Tons of traffic in Beijing so factor that in accordingly for travel to the airport, or restaurants and sights not... More

We have stayed in Peninsula properties around the world. We love Tokyo, Shanghai and New York and the one in Hong Kong is a must for us. This property has the same level of service and attention to detail as its sister properties. Our rate included transfers. Also, the hotel sends someone to get you from the gate at the... More

Great deal on the room although it was very small, comfy bed and hot water, so better than the Portman in Shanghai. Hot breakfast was cold and staff ignored me when I mentioned it, bread was stale too. Great to have the airport transfers included in the rate. Event facilities are a bit on the expensive side compared with other... More
