Location is great in the middle of Wangfujing area - close to all the attraction, shopping and dining. It has inexpensive rate which reflects the standard "motel" room amenities. More

From the Beijing airport, it cost us just under 80rmb to get the hotel. The best thing about this hotel is the location. A mall with a good mix of American and Asian restaurants is next door. There is also a McDonald's and KFC just across the street. You can also find the best Peking Duck a block away. In... More

Yes the location is great. It was very convenient to get onto the metro station which is located inside the mall. The mall has a great food court in the lower floor. Yes it is close to The Forbidden City but anything near a metro station could get you there. All of that is outside of the hotel. Inside the... More

This was my 4th stay in this hotel. It is by no means the Ritz Carlton but neither is the price. It is clean & has a pleasant atmosphere. It is in a great location with everything at your finger tips. 10-15 walk to Forbidden City & Tiananmen Square .5 minutes to subway station & shopping, shopping & more shopping. Loads... More

I stayed at the North Garden hotel for business. Centrally located, which is a plus in the maze that is Beijing. If you have zero sense of direction and are intimidated to go out at night without a guide this is the place to stay. Everything we were looking for is within a quick stroll. The staff didn't have as... More

We stayed at Beijing North Garden hotel for 3 nights at end of Oct 2011. We enjoyed our stay. The best part of the hotel is its prime location on the first block of the busiest Wanfujing street, the start of this prime tourist pedestrian shopping street which is full of big fancy departments stores, huge bookstore next door, alleys... I just returned from Beijing and this was my fourth stay at the North Garden Hotel. I again had a nice stay. The staff spoke fairly good English and my check-in and check-out was a breeze. They did not take my credit card for deposit but did ask for a 500RMB deposit which they returned to me at check-out. The... More

Booked via Travelzen (all good) for 4 nights. It met all requirements, most important being location. The check in was quick and the staff were serious but sweet trying very hard to understand our Australian accents. The hotel rooms are stock standard for the price range, clean well maintained, good size bathroom with white fluffy towels. It has tea facilities... More

The North Garden has what would be 3 star rooms in the US but will stay there every visit from now on. It is a superb value. I got it for about $100 a night. . The location is unbeatable. Between Wan Fu Jing walking street, Peking Union Med Center, Tianamen Sq and Forbidden Palace you could spend a week... More

I will make this a quick tip and hopefully you know why.... Good: - LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION... Wangfujing shopping district, Tianamen Square, all other major tourist sites on the main "Ring". Watch the lowering of the flag ceremony at Tianamen Square which is performed nightly at 7pm (sunset). Watch out for your pockets and belongings as there will be a... More
