On a short trip to Beijing in may, We four of us stayed here for 5 nights. Had booked 2 standard twin rooms from Mumbai based on the reviews shared, I really didn't regret in the first place because of its close proximity to subway station, supermarkets, silk street( xiushui street) the market known for fake goods which I feel... The localization is excellent. Close of Jianguomen Subway Station, Starbucks Coffee Shop, Embassies, TG's Friday, Sizzler’s, 7 Eleven, supermarket and others restaurants. The hotel offers some facilities such as summing pool, tennis court, sauna and others conveniences as well as a free shuttle bus to SciTech outlet shop. The wifi internet works very well The staff has poor English but... More

Efficient reception. Spacious, clean rooms. Competitively priced. Excellent location for shops, city centre and embassies. Only real quibble is that the breakfast is poor and over-priced, but there are plenty of cheap places to eat nearby. More

The hotel is really old one. It strongly needs reconstruction and good in-room repair. May be 20 years ago it was cool to have a large coffin-like TVset and a radio which now doesn't work. Twice I had problems with local Wi-Fi, though the staff managed to fix it. The reception is always busy with something, not very eager to... More

Simply dirty.. when i arrived first i noticed a couple of bloodstains on the bed and i asked for a new room. But i was not lucky the day after i woke up with 3 bites on my belly probably bedbugs or mite. Floor was dirty, bathroom small and staff unfriendly. The only good thing was the location..10 minutes from... More

I travelled to meet my Chinese friends and booked in by my friend ,who works for Beijing Public Service Radio. The hotel was very clean, with indoor pool and Spa. Used pool, clean enough. Did not sample hotel food, but went to local Chinese Restaurants yards away from hotel. Food in them very good, the local office workers ate there all the time for breakfast... More

This was the first visit to Beijing and though I was in awe of the place I was disappointed with the hotel. I picked it as my chinese colleague recommended it to be good and economical. Atleast the lobby seemed promising but as soon as I entered the room it smacked of cheapness. Dirty carpet, stains in the bathroom and... More

Stayed at the SciTech Hotel in Beijing for 5 nights in April. For the price I paid (560 RMB), I don't have too many complaints. Check-in was easy and quick; the rooms are comfortable and clean (though the bathroom is a bit small/cramped). The breakfast buffet was good and the location is quite convenient to restaurants, shops and Starbucks! My... More

I have stayed at the SciTech many times as it is close to my office in Beijing. The lobby is rather nice though smoking is allowed. The food in the restaurant is average but there are buffets for breakfast and dinner so there are options. Rooms are shabby but seem clean and are relatively quiet. I always get a non-smoking... The hotel allows smoking everywhere, therefore the rooms, and linens have the stench of tobacco. When I left the hotel, all my clothing smelled like cigarettes. The cleanness is also questionable, the carpets in the rooms are really old with lots of stains, I would not recommend walking barefoot in the room. Do not be fooled by the executive floor,... More
