Being first time in China, I think our family was lucky to stay in such a friendly and way over average hotel. Off-course, I don't have any other hotel experience in Beijing to compare with, but in Europe you always do not feel the same hospitality, that you migth recognise here in China or in Japan. Hotel staff was always... More

My husband, daughter, and I recently spent three nights at the Holiday Inn Central Plaza in Beijing. We had a great experience. The room was comfortable and quiet. The best part of the stay was the attention from the concierge desk, which arranged a day trip to the Great Wall that included a horseback ride to the wall and a... More

1) Location: far from city center and main attractions. Quite nice neighborhood, but Beijing is not a very walkable city at all. The closest metro station is like 10 blocks away, but official taxis are not expensive at all. 2) Rooms: In the big size, very roomy and well appointed, but cleanliness doesn't reach perfection. Very confy beds, good pillows,... More

My father and myself decided to have a holiday in China a few weeks ago.(Late March 2012) I looked up the trip adviser and saw a recommendation about a particular concierge named “Storm Li” who works at the Holiday Inn Central Plaza in Beijing. My father had visited China the year beforehand and seen the Great Wall together with 50,000... More

This hotel had been recommended by our son and daughter in law. We were concerned that it was a little distant from the tourist sites, but these fears were soon dispelled by the hotel's concierge, Storm Li. I contacted Storm via the net prior to our trip and he arranged all of our transport needs to and from the airport... More

I don't know what more to say other than I've hardly slept at all the last 4 nights. Aircon only blows hot air, staff have offered to open windows or to give us a fan. I check out tomorrow and intend on complaining to head office and requesting a full refund. More

We travelled to Beijing in March 2012. The hotel is great - it is clean, comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. The hotel is a little bit far from the main tourist attractions but getting a taxi is not an issue. The hotel staff helped us get one each day. Storm Li, as mentioned in many of the reviews, is... We travelled to Beijing over spring break (March 22-29) 2012 - a great time of year to visit. I was first attracted to the Holiday Inn due to it's reasonable price. We're a family of five (2 adults, three kids (11, 13 and 14) and squeezing into one room is no longer possible at these ages, so we had to... More

We stayed here in July 2011 for a weekend. The room was wonderful & we ate all of our meals right at the hotel. We had a wonderful trip planned by one of the staff to the Great Wall. Our girls want to stay here again when we return to Beijing, even though they were maintaining the pool last summer... More

We stayed here for seven nights 8 - 16 March 2012. Myself and my family come to Beijing often and live in China. If you are looking for a 4 star hotel experience with free internet (a lot of hotels of this standard charge you extra for it!) at a reasonable price then this is a good place to stay.... More
