The lobby of hotel looks grand and pretty good. The room we stayed was surprisingly good, except that the carpet needed to be replaced or thoroughly cleaned. There was internet access in the room that required cable connection and it was free. No wifi though. As far as food concerned, since we came as a tour group, so it was... More

We stayed here for three nights in November. The room was comfortable, somewhat updated with a flat screen tv and nice bathroom. The beds were pretty hard, as they are in China but really not that bad. Overall we were very happy with the room. The lobby is decorated quite nicely. The bellboys were very efficient and friendly. Top marks... More

Visited for 5 days with a tour group. This hotel is at best a 3 star by American stds. The rooms were clean, but dingy and old. Their was mold in the bathroom shower and on the shower curtains. The furniture is Holiday Inn 1950 style...and the hallways smelled like old cigarette smoke. This hotel needs a serious rehab...spend the... More

We stayed at this hotel for three nights in December 2008. Since we were part of a group tour, we didn't have to worry about any of the booking and check-in hassles. If you are traveling for leisure and and need to arrange your own transportation, this might not be a good place for you since it is kind of... More

Stayed here during the Olympics as part of a group booking. Agree with other reviews that the beds were very firm, the hotel was not close to the centre and it was disappointing to have to pay for ammenties such as the swimming pool. The most frustrating thing was dealing with the staff on reception. We had a number of... More

Stayed here with a tour group from June 18-22, 2008. A very nice hotel. Very good breakfast. Nice amenities, but most come with an additional cost. The hotel is ill-suited to those who would like to see a bit of the city on foot. It is right off a freeway, and a short walk doesn't immediately get one to shops... More

We were booked here as part of a group tour. The room was very nice and the beds were very frim (the firmest of the 4 hotels we stayed at on our trip) that was fine for us as it is our preference. Not so for some we were traveling with. The breakfast buffet was good. We were able to... More
