Building 16 where most people stay for conferences is a very ominous looking building. Once inside though it is quite pleasant. There are a number of restaurants and a two nice bar areas. The prices are also good. My room was fine.I didnt see very much of it due to the busy conference timetable. The staff in the hotel were... More

This hotel and conference center is isolated from any city touristic activities. The 5 star buliding 16 I stayed in was OK but the room was more Red Roof Inn than Hilton and I would have given it 2 stars. The beds were super-firm much like I imagine army beds are. The food at the conference was OK to good... More

My husband I recently attended a conference at the resort. O-M-G...by Western standards, this place is a dump. Sorry to be so blunt, but there it is. Our bed -- a rock. My bottom got sore while I sat on it reading a book! They provide a separate tap for drinking water in the bathroom, which makes me REALLY not... More

I stayed for an international conference. The hotel room was in block 16 where also the conference took place. Room was very nice and comfortable.. (has a Chinese bed, which is harder than what Westerns are used to but still very good). Did have free internet via cable (plugged the cable from the room pc into my labtop), connection worked... Really bad location, very hard to get to Beijing (and particularly to get back at night), suitable only for closed meetings at location. Closer to the Great Wall, though. Restaurants at location were frequently overbooked and we had to live on terrible dry food from the overpriced "supermarket". Rooms are ok, but buildings are oversized communist cold war monsters. Place... More

There are so many wrongs with this hotel, I don't even know where to start... I was there because of a 5 days conference. I took a taxi from Beijing International airport and the driver couldn't make sense of the map I printed from the hotel's website. It took us 1hour and 20 min to get there. The Hotel is... More

This is one among many such units to the north of Beijing, about 45-60 minutes from both Beijing city and the airport. It is divided into several zones and has a monorail connecting the different buildings. One is completely dependent on what the place and people have to offer unless one is willing to make a taxi/bus trip to Beijing... More

Stayed here for around 4-5 nights in July for an international convention/meeting held in downtown Beijing, with over 1500 people staying in one block (I think it was the 16th district) of Jiuhua Resort & Convention Center (in total they have around 4-5 massive blocks that are the size of one ordinary hotel building, effectively making it a small city).... Sleeping rooms are in terrible condition - rugs are filthy, spots/worn/frayed - air conditioning minimal - beds are like sleeping on the floor. Very few people speak English, so communicating issues like a non-functioning hair dryer are next to impossible. I ate breakfast in the Western restaurant - went at 9am (closes at 9:30am) and they were running the vacuum... More

This is the worst hotel that I've ever stayed during the beijing 6 days 5 nights trip. The front counter is ridiculously big but only 2 employees are working. We went there in a group of 22 people. While we reach the lobby, due to the bad weather (winter), the tour guide asked the bellboy to bring our luggages out... More
