Lovely place with nice cousy rooms and garden. The staff speaks english and are very helpfull and honest. They can also arrange a trip to Ijen for 600.000 for 1 car (max. 4 pers.)
The hotel is located one block off the main square (Alun Alun) of Bondowoso. A 24/7 minimarket is between the Alun Alun and the hotel. To the bus station it is 1200, maybe 1500 meters - definitely less than the 3 kms stated in earlier reviews.
My room cannot have been that bad as the termites liked it a lot...
