The company that I did business with booked me to this hotel, under their special corporate rate that includes breakfast and laundry for 2 pieces of clothing per day. Very good hotel, well-maintained, clean, and very courteous and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet is very good, although it's a little strange dining there in this COVID era with transparent plastic/acrylic shielding separating the diners on opposite sides of the tables.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at in Asia. Not only for opulence and luxury but for the amazing team of staff who go out of the way to help with anything to make your stay here a memorable and wonderful experience. We really enjoyed the Cascade bar with the violinists playing in the bar each night and danced the night away with the brilliant band in CJ's bar. The lunch buffet at the Cafe was a pure delight offering a huge variety of different cuisines and excellent value for money. If your looking to experience something special then The Mulia Senayan Jakarta will give you that 200%... Highly recommended.

i was in doubt before i booked mulia hotel as i understand the hotel has been around for almost 25 years in Jakarta. but upon suggestion from my friend, i finally booked it and i made the right the decision. the hotel was well maintained and it is no doubt declared as one of the best 5 stars hotel in Jakarta. the room is renovated recently too so it looks so comfy and homey. the room size is also large, amenities are in good quality too. the fitness center is the best part for me, it is so large with so many equipments inside and we are able to maintain social distancing due to large room size.swimming pool is also very large. but the downside is the pool and fitness center are only opened from 6am-6pm. check in process is also fast, staffs are friendly, housekeeping are very good and friendly too. room is also very clean and furniture are in luxurious too. in-room dining breakfast is surprisingly good but the downside is the breakfast is not delivered to me in full complete set. after a while, i notice the food is so little and missing salads, fruit slice and danish pastry where it should have been delivered as a set. they only delivered it upon my query.

if you are looking for hotels in senayan area, i wont hesitate to recommend mulia hotel.

Probably because of the pandemics, and the occupancy rate is relatively low, the water in the bathroom is murky. You would have to open the tap for a while before the water clears out. You won't notice it on the shower, but it is really noticeable if you fill in the bathtub. For a hotel this class, this is unacceptable.

Then, the security on the outdoor premises are not as friendly as the ones inside, especially if you are driving your own car. No language of hospitality, probably because the security officers think that you are just drivers if you drive your own car, and that drivers do not deserve hospitality.

Next, the receptionist literally told me that my room is non smoking, and said "Don't smoke in the room". Probably because I wore a t shirt and jeans, and she thought I was a driver, thus she didn't have to use more polite sentences.

If this hotel were a two-star hotel, then I will give the best scores. But considering that this hotel claims to be a high end establishment, I would give 2 out of 5 score.

Going to keep it short. I checked one day prior before booking, if breakfast is not limited by 1 hour since we’re having a breakfast with a 2 y.o. If you’re time limiting breakfast, im not booking as simple as that, and they confirmed there is no time limit on breakfast.

Little we know when we are checking in, they told us new rules, there is a one hour limit for breakfast! We feel cheated, and We’re still trying to negotiate until their Senior Duty Manager came.

Shout out to him Rudanny Stodart (you can identify him as Danny on the ID), he said it was impossible to have an extra time for breakfast and the rules is made after i made the booking (i know! Sounds convenient right)

Here is the simple question. When did this rule was announced internally? I made the confirmation less than 24 hours prior to checking in since time-limiting breakfast was a dealbreaker for me. For a Senior duty manager all he talk was gibberish, and Mulia, dont claim that you personalized my stay on this kind of review.

Now came the best part, he plainly asked me if I’m not satisfied with the arrangement, i can just cancel my non-refundable booking. Or literally i can just shove it on my face. Oh and they wont let you have a measly 30 minutes late check out because your 2 y.o is napping, when they took 45 minutes to 1 hour on checking in.

This is the kind of personalized service you’ll get.
Food? For 1 hour limit and that pricing? You can get better deal somewhere else.
Room? Dusty, wont touch that sofa
Front desk service? Effectively made me never want to book there again. Well played Mr Danny

This is a 1 star review. Even if the housekeeping, concierge are much better, im not only paying for those 2 specific service am I?

For a relatively high rates and 5-star hotels, the service was awful, and the hospitality of the employees also not meet a standard at all.
Breakfast menu was the same for all my 4-days staying and the food was taste fresh. Not necessary high amount of deposit and inflexible way to pay it. The pool floor was dirty and lots of ants.

I stayed this october during long holiday in Mulia Hotel with their special rates (promo). We highly appreciate for they arrangement, because they prepared good decoration for our wedding anniversary, and we really love the decoration and its cake.

However, we bit dissapointed with Breakfast in this hotel. They provided so ordinary choice of the breakfast. It didn’t represent breakfast of Five Star / Prestigious Hotel in Jakarta. Very limited option. I realize that i stay in this hotel with promotional rates, but i didn’t expect the service on their breakfast is dissapointed.

Previously, during pandemic, i also stayed in another hotel in Bandung. Let compare it with Trans Luxury Hotel Bandung. I didn’t know, if it’s comparable / peer to peer hotel or not, but in my opinion it’s the same five star hotel.

Yes, Trans Luxury Hotel Bandung always provide us good breakfast during our stay for two days, many choices of foods, and delicious. Talking about the price, i also got discount rates, and lower than Hotel Mulia, but the breakfast and service was remarkable.

Let’s compare with 4 star hotel in Bsd, Tangerang. Last week, i stayed at Mercure Bsd, they also provide breakfast. In my opinion, they more prepare for the breakfast with sufficient staff to service the guest. Choice of the foods is the same or even i think better than Hotel Mulia, because they also have vegetables. We didn’t find it for our breakfast in Mulia hotel. The price? of course, so far far lower than Hotel Mulia.

Our expectation was too high with this hotel mulia, because we think they have good service particularly on their foods for breakfast. It did not show as advertisement in their instagram “......enjoy some of the finest delicacies prepared by Mulia’s Chef” (attached).

We planned to stay for 3 days and 2 nights in the hotel, but because of the dissapointed experience during our breakfast, we try to cancel our second night. Unfortunatelly, after we contact the reception, we unable to cancel because we use promotional rates. Yes we admit it, but again, i did not expect with the services provided by Hotel Mulia for breakfast at Five Star Hotel. Therefore, we must stay again one night in this hotel, and should enjoy again our ‘ordinary’ breakfast at ‘five star’ hotel.

Therefore, based to my experience above, the choice is yours to stay in this hotel during this pandemic.

i staycation at splendor room, the room very satisfied, spacious room with complete room facilities. I stay with my 2 kids, their very happy. unfortunately when we got the breakfast, my children age 7years old have to paid, their charged omelete (expensive charge). very sad and make me dissapointed. Why the luxury hotel must be like that? does the hotel feel that it is a loss to provide breakfast to children, my child not eat to much in the morning. bad

All staff, in reception, of cleaning department, in the restaurants, dealing with meeting rooms are very friendly and helpful.
The food is great, specially the Indonesian dishes, but simularly all other dishes we have tasted.
The hotel is spotlessly clean. Room as keept in very good condition.
It weas a real pleasure to spend 8 days in Mulia Senayan.

We stayed in Splendor 1123, the room is spacious with big sofa, working desk and view to the pool. The cleanliness is superb, spotless with good maintenance -- except for the water in the bathtub (water from the shower and basin is OK). I am not sure how this can be happened in the 5 stars hotel, but nevertheless I still give 4 points for this hotel. Check in and check out is efficient, the pool is super big.

Breakfast not as fancy as I expected maybe due to pandemic, I would say the overall food quality is standard and just comparable to other hotels. My compliment goes to ayam goreng rempah and the shrimp noodle. The chicken is so tender and tasty, topped with mix of shredded galangal and fried peanuts (?). I am not sure what it is but they are so great and made us back to the stall several times only for the chicken. The shrimp is so fresh and perfectly cooked, the broth also perfectly blend. Love them!

The hotel is located in the city center. Easy to reach the shopping malls and sport center GBK. Food hawkers are within distance, and dining at the restaurant hotel also recommended as they have numbers of good restaurant.
