it was my first time staying in this hotel in jakarta. very pleasant outlook at the exterior and not too bad in the interior decor. i was greeted very well by all the staff from their security, porters and reception counter. they are always carrying a simile on their face, very attentive and hospitable at all time especially when you... The room is spacious and the bed is king size. Staff is helpfull and smily. Otherwise, the cleanliness doesn't seem to be their priority. The bathroom is dirty (ex.: there is hair on the floor, the shower is stained by moistures and there is ants all over the place). We made the mistake to bring our own food in the... More

We booked this hotel because it was in the same district as the Java Jazz Festival at Kemayoran..In spite of the poor reviews we booked a family room as most hotels even the very good ones were booked full already. A room for three cost 55 U$. We arrived at two in the morning and was promptly taken to our... More

I have been to many hotels and I am very easy to satisfy. This hotel is the worst hands down! The staff is very friendly; however the hotel is just dirty! The water fountain outside has been abandoned (major eyesore). My sheets were stained, pillows were beige, and the bathroom was horrific! Hair all over the bathroom floor, toilet had... More

The hotel's location is just in the city center but the toilets are dirty. Breakfast not many choice. In front of the hotel u can easily get transport by taking "angkot". Jakarta has not many places to visit as we like to know more on their culture. The Mini Park is the only place to know more about their culture.... More

I stayed here for 2 days recently. Pro: 1. Price is very cheap, about USD$35/nite. 2. Breaksfast is very simple but filling. All you can eat friend rice. 3. There is a small swimming pool. 4. Staff was courteous and helpful. 5. Location near mangga dua square mall. Next to hotel, about 50 m , there is indomart. There is... More

As what other TA said, I absolutely agree on the condition of the rooms. Spacious but a bit worn out. Anyway, that's equal to what we paid ( IDR 300,000)I. stayed one night before going to bandung and on our way back to Penang, we didn't hesitate to stay another night because of the price and the helpful staffs. We stayed in the alpine hotel for a night on the 3rd.June 2009. Basically we wanted a budget hotel to sleep the night before we pushed off to bandung the next day. The hotel is budget, relatively old and worn out. But for the price we paid, it was okay. We arrived late and check in was quick. The staff... More

The hotel is in central Jakarta but it's not a place for you if you plan to walk about from place-to-place. The price is very cheap for such a huge room with a double bed, 2 single-seater lounge chairs and a coffee table, overall the room is spacious, including the bathroom that comes with a bathtub. But, the hotel and... More
