Well kept and run little spot, with pleasant greenery and roof terrace for breakfast. Everything was clean, great hot showers and interesting wall paintings to brighten things up a bit. Great little restaurant/cafe a few doors down, good pizza! Would stay here again. They let us use their internet for free too. More

We were facinated with the atmosphere with a little but well kept garden right in front of our room and a restaurant right in front of the hotel. Rooms were basic but clean. More

I have a little afraid to choose this hotel but it was very good. I was there in March 2012. We were 15 of us. The rooms were nice designed and clean. None of out rooms were any insect. There were hot water and every day clean towels. The garden was beautiful but small. The breakfast was also good. The... More

Peaceful location, nice staff and opposite a couple of nice restaurants, but then, several other places had a similar location too . Rooms were dark, grotty, cramped and stank (of what I think was pesticide). The smell permeated my suitcase and contents. I got lots of bed bug bites during my stay, which still itch 2 weeks later. We stayed... More

We had a really pleasant stay here with a double room on the first floor facing their small courtyard garden. Each room has it's own private seating area on the terrace and we looked out onto the lush planting in the garden and could sit listening to the trickle of water from their small pond with the buzz of the... Hotel here offers tours around the city for quite reasonable rates. They can arrange for you tours to Prambanan or Borobudur. Hotel is clean and very worth for the money you pay. Offers daily breakfast and cleaning services. Free Coffee & Tea all day long! More

Very good location, close to shops, and rail station. Very friendly and clean rooms. The restaurant right next door was great. They have tour services from hotel, and we used them to visit Borobudur, Prambanan and Mt. Meripi - excellent day trip. Highly recommended. More

We booked for a two-night stay but eventually extended it to four. The hotel is quite popular - we had to book in at another hotel around the corner for our first night since we were too slow! 1001 Malam is set around a small courtyard with trees and a fish pond. This gives the rooms a pleasant outlook and... More

Fantastic place - the staff were very friendly, check-in was swift, and the service was great throughout. The rooms were clean, exceptional, and the ambience was great. We hired a driver from the hotel to bring us to Borobudur and Prambanan, and the driver was a young female in her 20s, who really showed us the sights of Jogjakarta, and... More
