located right in the center of malioboro street which is-i can say-the heart of yogyakarta. easy to find traditional, walk distance to the keraton palace and also traditional market beringharjo. buildings is quite old but it's comfort enough to spend ur night. More

Having a place like Mutiara Malioboro Hotel is the best...Malioboro is one of the best shopping area...with a lot of souvenir shops and great food....people there are also nice....the hotel was good,clean and staff were very helpful shopping was a distance away...lots of Indonesian craft and "Batik".... Location can't be beat. Set back from the road a little it's a short walk or taxi ride to most places you will want to go to in Yogyakarta. Rooms are large but getting a little old now, a bit gloomy as well. The rooms facing the back do get the full blast of the call to prayers several times... More

There are actually 2 Mutiara Hotels located in Malioboro. You should get the newer one or, some say, the second/south one. They are only separated by one building. Staff service was friendly. Checked in with no hassle. Room quality, good. Spacious and with a tub in the bathroom. But elevator needs renovation. Breakfast was quite nice, but need more variety.... More

It was a very standard hotel but staffs are very helpful. The bathroom is too old. I got room like a hotel room. Nothing special here except the perfect location in Malioboro Street. I think there's other budget hotel in this location with same price and better rooms. More
