Our room was renovated, quite, decent size, not a particular view. The pool/gym area is nice, clean with towels/ showers/lockers.

i don't know if we were put in an unrenovated room, but the actual room is far from the pictures advertised. it's old and feels like you are shoved back to the old chinese era - red walls and heavy furniture. carpet looks itchy. buffet is so so.

I have stayed at the Orchard Hotel every 2 months for the past 1 1/2 years. The location is great -- walking distance to good restaurants, shopping and not from MRT. The staff make this a welcoming place to return -- feels like home in Singapore. Rooms are more than comfortable. Great value and great staff.
