Solace is a nice hotel. If you get the room overlooking the garden, there is no noise problem. The rooms facing the street will hear dogs barking at night. Very nice comfortable bedroom with space, desk and in-room wif-fi. Beware of the East side - you may be lucky and have a distant glimpse of Mount Osorno but there is a dog's home just across the road and the dogs bark constantly. Helpful staff and hotel very close for walk to town. More

This hotel is a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious and there is plenty of hot water, and the central heating is excellent. We stayed 2 nights in a double room at the Solace Hotel in Puerto Varas. The hotel in very well maintained and the room was comfortable and clean. Everything was within walking distance, the lake, bars, restaurants and shopping. Highly recommended. More
