This is my 3rd stay at this hotel. I was quite pleased by the hotel when I first stayed here in 2009 but my subsequent stays have been less and less pleasant. This is probably the last time I stay here. The positive first: the hotel is very well located, in a nice neighbourhood (lastarria), which has plenty of nice,... More

I give this place on star because I ca Not only was this hotel under renovation when we stayed there but they also refused to fix problems with our room or give us a better room. The showers leaked and we had to put towels inside, which they suggested, in order to keep the floor from flooding. (you could see... More

Stayed here three nights. Definitely a good price if you want to stay in a hotel in that area of town. The hotel is fine. My room was small but did the job just fine. Free wifi worked in my room. Air conditioning worked great! Other than an annoying vibrating water pipe in the wall when my neighbors took shower,... More

Location was perfect, it really facilitated our sightseeing and traveling. Breakfasts quite nice, with scrambled eggs (which isn't common or rarely seen in Argentina). It was clean, however you could see it is a bit worn out and old, but the renovation was running. Also, air condition was not working and when we asked for its reparation they simply opened... More

The location is wonderful being across the street from the Santa Lucia park which offers a great vantage point for Santiago. Within a block toward the Almeda is a chic area of very fine restaurants and coffee shops. The hotel is also close to the metro stop Catholic Univ, but try to avoid rush hour which is like sardines in... More

located next to the Cerro Santa Luzia, close to lots of restaurants and bars and just 2min away from the subway, this place is ideal for those who expect a clean and tidy place to shower, sleep and have breakfast. From here you can easily explore the city on foot or by subway.. Breakfat is basic as usual in Chile.... More

This was our third stay at the Montecarlo. We like this hotel because it is located in a great part of the city. There is a lovely park right across the street, the Cerro Santa Lucia. It you walk to the top of the park you will get a fairly good view of the city. The hotel is small with... More

We stayed here three days and chose this hotel because of its location to the city. One can easily walk to the town in about 5 min. A typical bed and breakfast basic hotel. A few restaurants down the block. P.S. Don't wear any valuables ,as one woman told her her neckless was ripped off her on the way back... More

This is a budget hotel. The price is very nice, but that's the only positive thing to say. The hotel is from the 70's and the bathrooms haven't been cleaned since then. They are really discusting. The rooms are tiny, and you could easily hear everything your neighbours are saying. They say they have wireless, but it is not working.... More
