We stayed at Casa Moro on a quick stopover on our way back to Australia. Walter and Marcelo (and the dogs) were off on a well earned break when we stayed, however we were extremely well looked after by Kenna, who cooked up some lovely breakfast of omlette, scones, toast, fruit etc and gave us plenty of advice on what... "thedoormouse" says it all for us. We stayed here for two nights at the end of a 5 week trip and found Casa Moro to be a perfact ending. Walter and Marcelo are great hosts and made us feel so welcome from the moment they picked us up from the airport. We also took advantage of the lift back to... More

This review is LONG overdue - my husband and I stayed at Casa Moro in November, 2011. We are not fans of large hotels, but prefer to stay in smaller places with character. Casa Moro is exactly that and more. Walter and Marcelo are the most gracious hosts - you feel as though you are friends staying as guests in... More

So what makes this a cut above the rest? Location? Value? Décor? Service? All of it! Casa Moro is indeed the complete package! We stayed here in April 2012 at the end of a three week trip to South America and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room had a queen size bed with nice, comfy pillows. Extra blankets were... More

We spent two nights at Casa Moro on our way home to Australia, after traveling two weeks through South America. We were met at the airport by Walter, one of the owners, and taken to a charming old home. When we arrived we were greeted by three impeccably behaved dogs and four cats who made us feel right at home.... More

We just returned from an eight day stay at Casa Moro in Santiago, Chile. The inn is spotless and perfectly located near the Metro and many sights. Walter and Marcelo along with their staff, Kenna and Angelina were so warm and welcoming that you never want to leave. The breakfasts of freshly cut fruit and freshly baked scones or muffins... More

We had a beautiful stay in the home of Walter and Marcelo right in the heart of downtown Santiago. Kenna had many great suggestions about things to do in Santiago and was just great fun to talk to. They have done a beautiful job decorating and designing the house and turning it into a 4-room bed and breakfast. Our room... More

My family and I enjoyed a fantastic stay at Casa Moro! Walter, Marcelo, and Kenna are some of the best hosts I have ever met. They really went out of our way to make us feel welcome. They were extremely flexible with check-in and check-out times, which was a huge help since we were traveling from so far away. The... More

We loved the place. It's clean, great breakfasts. Walter made a lot of very helpful suggestions about places to visit, gave very detailed instructions on how to get there.Very nice, good hearted people with their unique view of the world. This place isn't for everyone, like any other place. If you don't like animals, people, food, eclectic places; if you like simplicity and predictebility of... More
