Located in the heart of Valpo's historic/touristic district, Casa Aventura represents great value for money. Excellent breakfast at a family table (i.e. fruits, eggs, warm bread, fresh jams, etc.), cosy beds with real duvets, and no bunk beds in the dorms. Staff is friendly, helpful, professional, and the owner is serious about keeping the place clean. Great budget choice!

Dorms really big, comfortable and convenient with lots of space to put your things and good lockers. Also, only 4 people in a dorm which was great. And perfect location in valparaiso close to the elevator that can take you back up the hill after grocery shopping or to the little coffee shop overlooking the port. The breakfast was fantastic... The location of the Casa Aventura could not be better in the heart of the old part of Valparaiso. We spent 4 days there and felt very safe walking all around the hills. The visit to the Pablo Neruda house was one of the main highlights. We agree that the breakfasts were great and it was so pleasant to sit... More

I just loved this place so much, that I would stick around till late afternoon; reading & drinking coffee. Than I would realize; oh, I have a city to explore. Really good jam for breakfas. The owner was very knowledgable. And the bed. Oh My God they where soft and so comfortable. And nice sheets. I could just nap and... More

This little hostel is well situated in Valparaiso and offers a breakfast to beat all breakfasts. It´s buffet style with eggs, rolls, homemade jam, coffee, tea and fruit. The hostel also has very comfortable rooms and if you follow the stairs to the top, you can witness some amazing street art and if you continue around to follow the blue... More

I loved staying in this hostel, I can't praise the owners highly enough! Coming back here after being out sightseeing feels like coming home, it's a perfect place to stay and it really makes a difference to your trip. I arrived here early one morning after a dreadful stay in another hostel, I was checked in and told I could... More

Great place. We slept in a very roomy 3 bed-dorm. (no bunkbeds!) Clean sheets and towels. Small lockers for valuables and a space for your backpack. Free citymap on arrival. Free fabulous breakfast: fruit, eggs, bread, home made jam, tea, coffee. Small but adequate kitchen. Great location. It all feels very warm and homy, the staff will go out of... More

The breakfast was probably one of the best I had in South America. The owner was nice to most everyone but seemed a little down on Americans. Rooms were spacious, the comforters were so soft and the location was great.

We would highly recommend this hostel as it is quaint, it has the best breakfast with fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, homemade jams, fresh bread and the owners are really personable and helpful. They really want you to enjoy your stay and exchange tips and history lessons across the breakfast table! They organise tours like Chilean cooking lessons. The rooms are... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. The staff were excellent, gave us a map and marked all the worthwhile sights and how to get there. A lovely hostel in a lovely town. We were in a dorm, 3 beds. So comfortable. There is a kitchen and you can cook whenever you like. The free breakfast is really good too. It´s... More
