This is a hotel the prides itself on being historic. To us it was a little more tired than old. The carpet is worn to the threads. We only stayed for two nights (front and back end of our trip to the area). I would recommend something closer to the the La Ronda area.

Excellent service and friendly staff. The hotel is on a semi-busy street and it can be noisy at night, so bring ear plugs to help. There are are a variety of restaurants nearby, and a big park whether you walk north or south out of the hotel. The bellman at the front is very helpful with suggestions and directions.

Conveniently located, with just about everything a traveler needs--plenty of closet and cabinet space, plenty of hot water, TV, fitness center, business center, bar, restaurant. It's not super-new, but unless you're a rock star, do you really care?

We stayed two nights to get acclimated to the elevation. Room was fine although street noise below was significant. Quitenos drive with their horns. Restaurant was good but nothing to get excited about. Nice to have in-room free internet. We will return.

Styaed for two nights on the way to the highlands for photgraphy. Clean and attentive, good value and a hearty breakfast. Very nice staff, very accomodating and pleasant to intereact with. The rooms are very clean and at the high end of a three star, Safe location and worth a return visit.
