“Crossroads has a name/ownership change”

Crossroads is now called "Home" and has been taken over by a lovely Ecuadorian artist who has totally renovated this lovely old building. It is right in the middle of new town, near restaurants and many spanish schools. The building has been repainted and done up and is absolutely spotlessly clean. “Nice Hostel, Nice Location”

Decent hostel with large clean rooms, In the heart of the restaurant/nightlife quarter. Bathrooms were clean with lovely hot showers. They also change travellers cheques for no commission - that's a first for SA!! More

This hostal is in the heart of Mariscal (new town). Stayed in room with community bathroom for 1 night and private bathroom for 1 night, and both were great! Very clean, with hot showers (pretty unusual in most cheap places in Ecuador). Some street noise when we stayed in the first room, and beds weren't the best, but overall I... More
