We booked into this hostel having been in another hostel which suffered from road noise. The rooms are excellant, with comfortable beds and good bed linen. Nicely furnished, excellant on-suite and also with TV in the room. WI-FI also good in the room. We had room 301 which I consider the best, it also has a private balcony. The staff... More

This is a high end hostel, great for families and couples and located just 3-4 blocks from the Plaza de Armas on Jerusalen between Ugarte and Melgar. It is very convenient for the restaurants and sights in the center of the city and they offer sightseeing tours etc. The owner, Eduardo, picked me up from the airport with his son,... More

We stayed for one night in September 2011. The room was very nicely refurbished and had a comfy bed. However breakfast was very basic for the price (43 Dollar for a double) compared to similar hotels in Arequipa. Also even in the back of the hostel there is a lot of street noise as there is no closed door towards... More

Beautiful, well furnished and clean rooms with authentic style elements. The building has a patio with a giant palm tree. There is a great rooftop terrace with excellent views of Chachani and Misti. All staff is extremely helfpul and the young woman is very fluent in English. More

I like it here a lot! the staff is so helpful and freindly, the rooms really worth it prices because they are in old colonial building, big, clean, private bathroom, security lockers, huge closets, and huge beds!!! by the way i forgot to mention the terase on the rood with misti and chachani if front of your eyes! what can... Very helpful staff, friendly and kind. The rooms are great, the only drawback seems to be the noise. Traffic, church meetings (???) in the building next door, and water-pipe (???) noises in the very early morning. Breakfast should definitely be improved. More

Great location, really clean, lovely roof top and best value for money. Only issue is the worn and tired looking bed sheets... Not so appealing! Just a heads up, the sweet man and woman that work there do not speak ANY English... So make sure you have phrase book to hand!! More

New and very clean rooms in the back, the nicer rooms in the older part (street front) are most likely very loud. Friendly staff. Walking distance to all centre sites of interest. Paid 100 N/S for a two bed room which is really good value.   More

Hi everyone. We just came from a 17 day trip to Peru. We stayed in 10 hotels including La Casa de Margott (lacasademargott.com). This colonial mansion has nine very clean rooms with beautifull tiled bathrooms. The owner is in the middle of expanding the property by adding 19 additional rooms and a restaurant. During the day there is some noise... More
