2 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 June 2013 NEW

Fantastic location; opposite San Catalina Monastery and just two blocks from the Plaza de Armes. But this hotel has nothing else to recommend it. Despite the promise of its entrance – an old colonial courtyard and ancient entrance and lobby – rooms are in a new wing. The rooms are very small, and the beds even smaller. We had double... More

Every morning, those stinky pigeons would coo outside and wake me up. Granted, I stayed but two nights. We had the room just up the stairs on the 2nd floor and it was fine despite being along a main tourist drag. Top location - few minutes walk to Plaza de Armas, cafe alley, and across from Chicha por Gaston Acurio... More

Beautiful estate set up in the middle of the touristic stream, right across of street of the Santa Catalina Monastery, which you MUST visit. Modern fully furnished interior with modern elevators and updated rooms with view to the interior gardens and ample terraces. Nice restaurant and staff, very accommodating, had breakfast on outside patio. See pictures. This is no a... More

We only stayed one night but could have stayed longer. It has a lot of character as it still retains some of the original monastery. Bedrooms are more up to date and modern. Rooms were good and beds comfortable, bathroom was modern and adequate. Breakfast was good with choices to suit everyone. Town itself is very picturesque with narrow streets... More

I'm not sure how they get away with charging so little for their rooms! We stayed here a couple of nights either side of an overnight stay at the Colca Canyon and I must say this was fantastic value for money. Location was brilliant in terms of proximity to the main square and a street away from where a number... More

This hotel is located in the center of the Arequipa city, just in front of the Santa Catalina Monastery and Chicha Restaurnat (by Gaston Acurio) and at two blocks form the main square. Great views from the Santa Catalina Monastery at night from the elevator, nice staff.

A pleasant enough place; the location is excellent and it is surrounded by very good restaurants. The rooms are nice enough but the plumbing a bit flaky at times. We stayed there twice – the first time in a ground floor room and the second on the third floor and both were fine. On the first occasion guests on the... More

We only stayed here a few nights, but the service was good, the breakfast was basic but good, we didnt have any problems with noise as we were at the back. The portering service was great. I read somewhere there was a swimming pool, but it is now a patio area in the garden.

Stayed here one night and the best thing is the location. Breakfast was not bad at all comparing to other hotels we stayed in Peru during 2 weeks. They have lots of fresh fruit, cereal, different juices, tea coffee, milk ( 200 characters yet?)
