I've been at Samay Wasi for about three night now, and don't regret a moment that I picked this place. The place got several different types of rooms. (Actually eight different). I stayed in the 6-persons dorm without bathroom. I paid 25 soles a night, breakfast included. Breakfast is basic bread, butter, jam together with tea or coffe. The place... More

This hotel is great! We stayed in many hostels throughout south america but this was by far our favourite. The staff are super friendly and make it a home away from home. The breakfast which is included with the price of the room is great fresh bread everyday and the coffee was brilliant! The hostel also offers a medical service... More

This is a great place to stay in Cusco. The staff is AWESOME--super nice and helpful in every possible way. Besides helping us with transportation and reservations in other cities in Peru, they made sure everything was comfortable in our room. We mentioned, for instance, that the mattress on my daughter's bed was worn out. When we back that afternoon,... More

I reserved a double room through email and got a notification that our double bed room was reserved. When we arrived to Samay Wasi 1, it turned out that they didn´t have a double bed room for us because they had already given it to somebody else, strangely. We decided not to make a fuss and took a twin room.... More

I have to start with a thankful word to Monica, how helpful and friendly she is. We came back to Samay Wasi again after our trip to Machu Pichu, and many other travelers did the same, so this explains how happy is everyone. I strongly recommend, the stairway is well worth the climb to get there. And the view is... More

This best thing about this hostel is the staff. They are friendly and help organise tours for you as well as meeting you at the bus station or airport. The rooms were average and it is quite noisy. The breakfast was poor, a white roll with jam. Some fruit or something would have made it a bit better. More

We stayed couple of nights at Samay Wasi I, and we enjoyed our stay. Rooms are clean and shower is hot. Staff is friendly and helpful. They came at the bus station to pick us up for free. They have a nice common area with a terrace, 2 computers and TV. You can also use the small kitchen for cooking.... More

I stayed in Samay Wasi I based on tripadvisor reviews and I wasn't disappointed. I stayed there before and after visiting Machu Picchu and my luggage was kept secure whilst away. I stayed in two different single rooms with private bathroom, and would recommend staying on the top floor, as you hear noise through the wooden floors during the night... More

We stayed here for 3 nights prior to our inca trail trip in a private room. It is very basic here, but there are at least 4 thick blankets on the bed changed every day, hot water, the most helpful staff who collect you from the airport. 3 nights private cost us 70 dollars. Can not beat this place! More

72 soles for a double room with a private bathroom, including breakfast (the hostel accepts dollars) This hostel is great however it is very expensive. Therefore I only stayed for two nights before I moved onto a cheaper hostel, of the same quality as I wanted to spend about two weeks in Cusco. (There are plenty of similar hostels for... More
