In February I booked a double room for a two day stay in late May. Shortly thereafter I received a confirmation email from the Walkon Inn and confirmed my stay with them. Today I received a cancellation email just two weeks before my stay in Cusco. There was no reason given for cancellation, but the manager offered to give me... More

We stayed at the Walkon Inn for 5 nights before doing the Inca Trail and 2 additional nights afterwards. Our first room was clean and had a reasonably comfy bed although the pillows were very lumpy. Our second room was also clean but the main lights did not work and this was not fixed during our stay (there were 2... More

Overall, this hostel was great. The location is a bit of a walk from the plaza, but it's definitely still centralized and in a decent area. The rooms were clean and basic, and the bathrooms had good showers with hot water. Fast wifi. My only complaint is that, probably due to the layout of the common area and it's proximity... More

I needed a few nights hostel accommodation although I live in Cusco. Walkon Inn is the cleanest place I've found especially at their very reasonable rates. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable and it's located in a quiet street but is still only twoblocks from the plaza. The first hostel I've found where they make the beds in dorm rooms. More

I recently stayed here while traveling for 4 weeks in Peru. This was by far the best hostel I stayed in on my trip. Too marks go to cleanliness, the staff clean showers and bathrooms and make bed daily. The staff are most helpful, either calling an early taxi or helping book an excursion. My only gripe was the uphill... More

We had a average or below average experience at Walkon Inn Cusco. We had made a reservation two weeks in advance and when we arrived the room we requested (private matrimonial w/ private bath) was not available. They put us in a matrimonial room w/ shared bath which had the worst mattress in our 4 months of travel. We were... More

We had arranged an airport pick-up and they were 15min late but it wasn't a big deal. The moment we arrived at the hostel they ushered us into courtyard where we were served steaming hot coca tea (there are unlimited teas available all day which was fantastic!). They explained all of the details about the hostel as well as their... More

We clearly have a good reservation system and from the text of this traveller, it looks as if he/she was at another hostel. If something should go wrong with us, we always have a good alternative for our guests. Furthermore, we can't find any reference to you in our extensive record system so it is clear to me, as the... I stayed at the Walkon Inn before and after my trip to Machu Picchu. The hostel was kept very clean -- rooms, common areas and bathrooms. The staff was extremely helpful in setting up my trip to Machu Picchu, as well as suggesting things to see and do. I'm an older traveller (56) -- to me, this was one of... More

We didn't get the change to stay at the Walkon Inn because they overbooked the hostel and informed us that they had to cancel our booking but booked us into a "sister" hotel, it was terrible, called Sumac Wasi. I think for the price we paid you cannot expect much, but they should sort out their booking system and rather... More
