We stayed in this hotel twice for several nights before and after visiting Machu Picchu and we liked it. The location is perfect, 2 minutes walk to the Plaza del Armas. The rooms are basic but surely good enough. A nice, kind of patio in the middle of the hotel and multiple stairs leading to different parts of the hotel... More

Stayed 3 nights as part of a tour. Room is noisy ALL THE TIME. We stayed in a room facing the square, so there are constantly noises coming from the square, such as car engine noises and pedestrian. Car noises are especially annoying as tour buses are there very early in the morning to pick up passengers. Noises travel easily... More

Stayed here on 3 nights as part of a wider tour. The staff are lovely and helpful, but each time we stayed, there was a different issue. From no hot water, to no towels, to towels taken away Durig the day to no floor mats - the place just baffled me in it's inconsistency. They also need to seriously clean... More

Located in the corner of a nice square and the main square is very close (one block). The rooms are basic but nice, we had no complains. There is a place where you can have breakfast or relax in the middle of the hotel. Breakfast was basic but ok: 2 juices, jam, ceareales, jam, coffee, tea and fruit. It is... More

This place feels like a hiking base station and has a nice courtyard, unfortunately the staff are clueless and unhelpful. They smirked when I complained about the toilet not flushing when my girlfriend was sick and wouldn't allow me to call the travel agency because it was a mobile call. The rooms are basic. There are plenty of much better... More

I stayed in this hotel as part of a Tucan tour on two separate nights during Jan '11 and as such stayed in two separate rooms with a vast difference between them. The first room was on the ground floor. It had three beds - a double and two singles, and looked as though it had originally been one tiny... More

The hotel is just minutes from the Plaza de Armas in a great location overlooking a beautiful square. In value for money terms and bearing in mind how overpriced many hotels in Cusco are in high season, this is probably about as good as it gets. However... the rooms were very basic and in serious need of refurbishing. We changed... More

Even if you have to pay more, stay away from this hotel. Small room and bathroom. Very tired hotel... old furniture, old sheets and towels, old stained linolium flooring. Also there is no sense of any convenience features or asthetics at all (they could have provided better features with not much additional cost). (ex. one couldn't reach the toilet roll... More

This hotel is quite good, I am surprised at some previous comments! The rooms and bathrooms were quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff are generally friendly and helpful. It is in a great location within walking distance to all the main sites in cusco and breakfast is available for 7 soles, although there is not a lot of variety at... More

Our 1st night in Cusco in Plaza 1, we were in a room approx 7 x 10 feet, with a TV that was on the blink, and the ONLY room without hot water (picture attached - my husband spanning the walls). We had little sleep on the lumpy bed but the worse factor was there was only small windows in... More
