i've been at Arqueologo Cuzco Hotel in february 2012. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The service was simple but very good. One of the attendants, managed to organize a tour to Valle Sagrado and Macchu Picchiu to the following day, even with climatic problems with the train transportation, and everything worked fine.

We stayed 3 nights and don't have one complaint. The location was fantastic, the rooms charming and clean and the staff was top notch. The breakfast was lovely and included made to order eggs which we enjoyed. The internet connection was reliable and did not feel unsafe walking in the neighborhood after sunset. Highly recommend!

The location is great, only a 5 minute walk to the Plaza de Armas if even that. It is in a nice neighborhood and we never felt unsafe walking the streets, not even late at night. Really loved this hotel, had a nice charm to it and fits in with the setting of Cusco. Our room was off the courtyard and was plenty big, nice comfy beds, clean and a decent shower, the main things I look for in a hotel room.
