Most rooms are made to look like a "cave", which we all thought was strange. Free wifi and laptops throughout the hotel. Hair dryer. Restaurant was excellent for breakfast and included 40+ choices of items to eat. Dinner food was very good, although service was very slow. I was with a group of 25 people and we all complained about... More

Stayed in this Hotel as part of Gate 1 Peru tour. Hotel is centrally located (kudos to Gate 1), breakfast choices are more than enough. Hotel offers free Internet and has a charming reception area. The first room assigned to us was a backroom on the hotel's first floor. One could hear all the street noise. My husband had difficulty... More

Since the staff is ignoring emails I called to finalize the arrangements for my booking. They hardly spoke english and were not helpful at all. Insteats of transferring me to someone who speaks english they put me for 12 minutes (!!!) on hold and were all the time surprised that I was still in the line, until I gave up.... More

The location of the hotel is quite central and close to the main square. The rooms are ok, but freakishly cold due to bad isolation and a not closable window in the bathroom. We had a heater in our room, but we needed an additional one to keep warm even during days. The hallways are tiled and therefore quite loud.... More

My friends and I stayed here as part of our Gate1 tour. My friend commented how she thought this was the lesser of the hotels we stayed at, I thought it was sufficient. We arrived at this hotel after a long day at Machu Picchu and long drive back to Cusco. The hotel's restaurant was closed by the time we... More

This Hotel is very very good and it is a shame to see so many bad reviews for minor issues! We stayed here on a tour of Peru with Llama Travel for 7 nights and we thought that staying in one place for so long would be a bit annoying but the place is great. They get the main things... More

Interesting cosy hotel, which they have given a Peruvian flavour to as opposed to the boring International look. Breakfast very good. Obviously the rooms are fairly basically furnished, and things are a bit tatty in places. If you want luxury then go to the Liberador next door-and pay accordingly! However, if you want a clean and comfortable hotel then I... More

We stayed in this hotel on July and got it for a very good price, the hotel is really cozy, clean and just lovely, the white stone style walls are soo cool, the hotel staff are very friendly and offer good customer service, the waiters at breakfast time were the kindest and friendly waiters I have ever seen in my... I stayed at the San Agustin International Hotel with my spouse and brother and his wife as part of a Gate 1 tour of Peru in August. This hotel had a good check in process, nice lobby and large dining area with a bar. The room was fairly small, but very clean and contained modern furniture. The breakfast buffet was... More

The San Agustin chain of hotels provides good accommodation in all their locations (I've stayed in a few). This one was a 5 min walk to the main square and while on a busy street corner I didn't notice any noise. Room was spacious, clean and cute and a/c worked very well. I only had the breakfast buffet in the... More
