The bad and the ugly: Blood on my sheets. Chatty chain smokers situated in the courtyard from 2am-4am. The good: Shower was okay. Wifi was good. Location is good. Plenty of other hostals in Cusco, better to pick a different place.

The hostal is well furnished and colorful interiors are really nice. Free wi-fi (quite fast) and Mate de coca are also big advantages. As is the location - 5 minutes walk from Plaza de Armas. Cons? Friendly helpful staff. Four blocks from plaza de armas. Great breakfast (eggs, fruit, yogurt--- much better that bread and jelly, the common Peruvian breakfast), clean, cozy, rooms are a bit oldy, but they can even transfer call phone calls to your room... Absolutely recommended
