We stayed here for one night and it was quite lovely. We got a room with a double bed for US$35, which was worth it, but I think the usual price is US$50 which I would not have paid. The location was convenient and it felt very safe (the neighborhood and the hostal itself). Many reviews here mention hearing the... More

This simple hostel is in a safe area of Lima. It's about a 15 minute walk to the main shopping area of Miraflores. There are limited restaurants immediately close by. Breakfast was simple with freshly cooked eggs and toast. Rooms were basic with a tv, free wifi and ample hot water. More

Hostal Killari was a great base for our stay in Lima. It is situated in the safest neighbourhood- Miraflores and only a short 10 minute walk from Lacomar. It is about a half hour drive from the airport. We recomend that you organise a pick up rather than get an 'official taxi' from the airport because we were charged s/125... More

This is definitely a very good value B&B. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bed is so comfortable and I like the generous amount of plush pillows (4 for my room for one). The location though not near the beach is fine with me as it is in a very safe and clean area. The restaurants near it,... More

Staying in this hostal in Lima. It has only 5 rooms. Reception is open 24 hrs. Breakfast is free and good. Eggs, fruit salad, juice, coffee, bread. In the BEST area of Lima. 5 minute walk to Larcomar. 45 minutes from Airport. About 40 soles from Airport to Hostal. Alejandro nice staff hostal co-owner. Don't expect a lot of information... More

From the airport pick-up and throughout our stay at the Hostel Killari we were greeting with friendliness and great hospitality. The staff were always eager to accommodate us in any way possible, including orientating us about proper taxi rates (taxi drivers will always try to rip off tourists) which was very helpful. The hostel is also located in a great... More

We ended up staying for 3 nights It was amazing! You get a free "American" Breakfast- Coffee, OJ, Eggs and Toast with your stay. It's clsoe to Miraflores (10-15min walk from the main street) the most popular area in Lima. They all where very helpful and would give this place a A+ and we would stay here again in a... More

The staff of the Hostel is very nice and also very helpful. The Hostel is located in Miraflores on a main street and therefore it is very noisy. Also, our room had in the bathroom on the roof quite a lot of mold - it is not dramatically but also not very nice. A nice place to stay for one... More

Dear Wernesto, We appreciate the comment regarding the mold. Unfortunately, the mold was caused by the humidity of Miraflores area. By having the hostal in Miraflores, we all struggle with this kind of issue, and constantly we have to repair in order to keep the hostal clean for our guests. We apologized that we didn´t notice mold in the cealing... More

We stayed three nights at the Killari and overall we had a pleasant stay. The airport pickup worked perfectly, the hotel itself is very clean, the management (Alejandro and his brother) are super friendly and very helpful. The hotel is located between Barranco and the heart of Miraflores, both within 30 min walk although there are excellent restaurants nearby. The... More

My sister, two friends, and I had two double rooms here in July. This was the cheapest place we stayed in Peru and the only one with reliable hot water and good water pressure. That itself makes it a huge bargain. The location is great, the rooms are superclean, and the service is awesome. We felt super safe and were... More
