We loved the location in the old town of Ollanta and the views were great. Our room was very comfortable with nice touches like candles and incense. The gardens are nice for relaxing and enjoying the views. They provide free water bottle refills, yea, thanks for taking care of the environment! On the morning that we took the train to... More

We wanted to come see Machu Picchu and saw a mountain bike trip offered by The Clymb website. They stayed at Hotel Iskay. I emailed Yukk and made reservations. They then set up a mountain bike trip, the hike on the Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu with an English speaking guide, all our logistics, and the two days in Cusco.... More

This little hotel has a wonderful view of the ruins of Ollantaytambo, with a peaceful garden in the middle filled with local plants and fruit trees, nice open spaces, and the sound of the rushing creek running by. The rooms are adequate and clean, the showers have hot water, and the included breakfast was the best we had in all... More

Thank you Trip Advisor for recommending this place, we booked since it was #1. Ollantaytambo is a great little town and we really enjoyed our visit. It was easy to find after asking directions once, great location! We mostly dealt with Eddie who was very kind and fantastic. Easy check in, great, great room. Better than I expected from a... More

Unfortunately we only stayed here for one night (due to their sister hotel Sol being full) but found it the most enchanting place. We had a room looking out over the garden with the amazing backdrop of the Inca terraces and mountains. The room was small but very quaint, not the king sized beds we'd been used to but clean... We stayed in one of their outside cabins for two nights; had a lot of spare time to enjoy the beauuutiful garden with hummingbirds flying by; WHAT a good way to start a holiday! Service excellent, breakfast just fine, views fantastic (right in front of the Ollantaytambo ruins!!) showers really very nice, beds just great: five well-deserved stars (as well... More

We really enjoyed our four nights in the at Hostal Iskay. Ollantaytambo is a great place to acclimate to the high altitude before hitting Cuzco or the Inca Trail. The staff are extremely helpful and will speak in English if you need it. They are quick to arrange transportation with reliable, friendly drivers. We found the hostal and the town... More

We stayed two nights and would have loved more. This village was great, and the stay here was definitely part of our enchantment. All of the flowers made it beautiful - even nice bouquets in the rooms. But the best part was the staff - so helpful with our questions, and with a taxi problem that we brought on ourselves.... More

3 of us stayed here for two nights as our base for Machu Picchu. The location is amazing, with great views of the Inca ruins at Olantaytambo, and was just a short stroll to the main village square. The owners and staff were fantastic - nothing was too much trouble, from making sure we got our bags in the right... More

This place is so quaint, homely and peaceful. It isn´t the cheapest, but it isn´t expensive either. We stayed here after going to Picchu and it was the perfect come down from the hype. The rooms are immaculate and the service awesome. They let us use the phone at the front desk (free call) for 45 mins while we organised... More
