We stayed overnight. The hotel is inexpensive and well situated right next to the Victory Park and Museum, and the Svislach River Embankment. Wifi worked well, there were plenty of electrical outlets for charging devices, the rooms were clean and quiet, and breakfast was good.

Having stayed somewhere a little more expensive on my first Minsk visit, this was maybe better in terms of quality price ratio. If your main objective is to visit the Victory Park and Museum area then this is the perfect location. It is a twenty minute walk to the main centre of bars/restaurants and quite a few of the museums, plus shops, but if you enjoy a stroll, it is ideal. The breakfast was very good too and all the staff I met were friendly although the one I gave the key to on checkout was very keen to check with the maid that I had left the room correctly. At the moment there is some renovation work around the back of the hotel, so I would strongly recommend a room at the front. Being out all day it wouldn't have affected me, but I noticed it as I arrived p.m. the first day. To be fair to the hotel, there is a large sign advertising the fact to warn guests.

Room 1102, fantastic view. Due the kindness of the manager Mr Pavel, we got two courtesy bottles of water at arriving and a kettle in the room. The Planeta is in a good position, 500 mt to the metro. One thing must quickly be improved: the breakfats. Poor and meny food are not replaced if you''ll be there after 9,30. The sweetees are ... almost not existent ! Cofee machine must be replaced in a new one. The staff at reception must be smiling and not listless and serious or lazy. Ivanromeo.

I wanted to visit Minsk, so I take this hotel. It is really enough one day to visit Minsk. The hotel is old fashioned, the breakfast is poor, but it is the budget hotel, very clean, in the center of Minsk. So, it has bad sides (a little shabby, but very clean hotel, breakfast is poor) but the price and location are something why I decided to take this hotel.

The hotel needs some updating but for the value it is not bad. The rooms and the bathrooms are small, but they are clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Stayed overnight on the way to Poland. The dinner was delicious. The WiFi was great in my room on the 4th floor. They give you some shower gel and shampoo packets but they are very hard to open. There is a mini bar in the room but no tea kettle. The bed was very soft and low to the ground. The air conditioning didn’t work, but there was a large window to open. There was a blow dryer but no safe. Extra pillows and a blanket were in the cupboard. There is plenty of room for storage and unpacking. Overall I would stay here again for the value, cleanliness of the hotel, and staff.

Nice, clean, comfortable rooms with great views, supported by a friendly staff. Open late with a bar/lounge to relax after a long day of business. The breakfast offered is ample and fresh. I will definitely stay here again when I return for next years Machine Tool Exhibition.

We booked this hotel through an agent as I needed a letter from the hotel for my VISA to Belarus. This hotel was one of the cheap option at good location. Not sure if hotel has airport transfer; I used the Airport Transfer cab service which is located in the airport, they are much cheaper than getting a taxi outside. While return I booked the same company from hotel to airport. Hotel is recently refurbished; but looks like it has a history because everyone knows this hotel in Minsk, so you will never get lost ! Hotel is clean, staff is friendly and quick to respond to your needs. Room has everything you need, except for safe. Rooms clean and kept well, but a bit small. The bathroom is small as well, but shower is tiny. There is a small TV with mainly Russian channels, but there are some German, French and English channels as well. Normally they will provide you empty minibar and you can fill it up from grocery nearby. Bed is clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is decent; they have items to cater for most type of food habits. Being vegetarian, I must say, they had few options. Hats off to the lady chef, she tirelessly works to help people. Hotel has tour desk, barbershop, ladies saloon, spa, a nightclub and restaurant, lounge and club/striptease place as well. I never used spa, but can confirm barbershop and ladies saloon are good. Restaurant is decent. They do have money exchange counter which is open all the times (not sure if its 24 hrs). There is a small shop, but there is nothing much in that shop. Hotel is guarded by very good and helpful security team. If you need taxis, the front desk can arrange taxis at normal meter prices. There is room service for in room dining which normally open till 9 PM I reckon. Location wise, this is fantastic. The victory museum, victory park, island of tears, the historical churches all in walking distance. There is Minsk Gallery mall within 5 to 10 minutes walk as well. On the otherside of hotel, there is 24/7 supermarket called Big Supermarket. Plenty of pharmacies, banks and restaurants near by. The views looking at victory park is unbeatable. Staff speak decent English (well most of them) and always there to help you. Even though there is heater in room, I was feeling cold, so they brought a portable heater within minutes. Basically you ask, they take care. I gave 4 stars only because, there is no safe in room, it was a challenge to take shower in that tiny shower cabin. Otherwise, no complains. But keep in mind, this is a budget hotel. Sometimes, you can hear music from that lounge / club in the night time if your room is on victory park facing. But it is ignorable.

I've been to the hotel as a head of a group. The hotel located not far from the city center, about 20 minutes of walking, near a few museums and historical places. The hotel looks that trying to be more modern but the style is a bit old fashion as well as Soviet. The costumer service is depend on the part of the hotel - the reception is very welcoming g and VERY helpful, but the personal of the dining room a bid cold and rude. The rooms are wide enough but the shower is small. Without any welcoming kit at the rooms. Has refrigerator,TV and free WiFi for which you get the password at the reception. No electronic key, and the regular has heavy key holder. Overall feeling- could be better.
