It's a bit hard to give a proper review as we didn't stay in the building pictured on the HostelBookers website. Apparently this is only the reception area and people are housed elsewhere in the city, in nameless buldings more or less close by. So, who or what is Posillipo?

Just stayed the night out of season, didn't get to meet the friendly owner everyone speak of on other sites but the most happening area of Sarajevo is on your doorstep. Just beware the color coding on the shower control is opposite which gave me a nasty shock when I tried to turn the het up :)

this is the best location you can get outside the tramstop in the heart of bascarsija. walking distance to everything. bakery and convenience store steps away. next door is a restaurant that plays live folk music in the evenings though not too noisy as you can only hear from the alleyway outside and not in your room. in the distance...
