For travelers who had the pleasure of knocking around Europe in the 60's, and stayed in the sort of hotel that European people stayed in for months at a time on holiday, this hotel will take you pleasurably back to large rooms (at least ours was), clean bottom sheets that aren't fitted, windows that actually open, and a real dining... The hotel is quite basic. It boasts a swimming pool on it's website - but is not in use at the moment. Worth checking if that is important to you. Reasonably clean rooms, breakfast OK - but they need to clear tables when guests have finished. We had a family room - which was a supersize with a double and... More

This is a no-fuss hotel that won't either delight - or disgust - anyone. The receptionists were friendly and efficient and my room was clean and warm. It's one of the cheapest hotels in what is otherwise an expensive place to stay. Main problem - distance from the Old City - you need to taxi it More
