The hotel is made in old colonial style. This is something you should like as also the rooms are designed like this. I really enjoyed it. The staff was great. They helped to bring the luggage to the room (no elevators), corrected the booking of the room and were very kind all over my stay. The breakfast was fantastic!

It is a great hotel but the standard in the rooms should be better for that price. The same goes for the breakfast whixch could be better. Service is great and the reception and buiding as a whole very beautiful. Very good location just next to arc the triumph and embassy areas.

Exceptional hotel for its location. I was pleased by its antique and modern interior design. Please to hear Prince Charles has stayed with Hotel Residence before. I recommend it to anyone who is visiting Bucharest and is looking for an elegant, cozy, romantic place to stay. Due to its central location, the surrounding streets can get a bit noisier.

Our whole experience of this hotel, in which we stayed for a week, was ruined by one (Friday) night, when the disco went on full blast (and I mean deafeningly loud) until 4am. Almost brand new inside. Was upgraded to a studio. Booked through booking.com at a great price of €53 but not including breakfast. Very friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Near to local shops but a 7 lei (about £1.20) 10 min taxi ride from city centre. Room was huge. Felt very safe and secure. Quiet location.
