An excellent stay for the 2 nights we were in Panama City before heading to the airport. It was a bit difficult to find by the taxi so good directions and the address are necessary. We stayed in this hotel for three nights and found it to be fine except a little hard to get to because of the one way streets adjacent to it. It was clean and comfortable and the little breakfast courtyard was delightful. The desk clerks were helpful and Erwin went out of his way to be helpful.

In a quiet neighbourhood, very safe. Easy to access all the sights of panama. Lovely rooms, clean, spacious, great aircon, bathrooms and showers really nice, views to peaceful courtyard garden. Good breakfasts. Erwin is a really good host too, very helpful with local information. Great value. Would highly recommend Baru lodge!

Erwin was a great host and made you feel like family. He is there from Monday thru Friday so don't expect to get him there if you arrive at the weekend.
