Keith the owner met my husband two daughters and me by the ferry terminal and helped us carry our luggage to cobblestone inn to our beautifully decorated rooms. It is so central to the heart of Nantucket. A complimentary delicious light breakfast was served each morning of fresh coffee juice and cakes scones and jams. We loved Nantucket and we... More

We stayed in room 4. We arrived early (around 11), and were pleasantly surprised that our room was ready! So, we were able to get into our room and freshen up and unpack a bit, when all we had been expecting was a place to leave our luggage. The air conditioning was nice - we definitely needed it the weekend... More

Room was larger then we expected - super clean and comfy bed. We did notice the steep stairs but it wasnt as bad as some indicated-we hardly noticed. The owners never bothered us with idle chit chat or small talk which we appreciated. We felt relaxed, comfortable, and unbothered. The location was great as we didn't have a car and... More

Paid 50% of cost to reserve the room. What a shock when we were asked to pay the remaining 50% on the first morning there, at breakfast no less. Innkeeper()Robin) said she was going out of town and that we would have to pay before she left. Although we did find that her husband was there the rest of our... More

We loved our stay at the Cobblestone Inn. We will be rebooking for a second trip later this summer. We visited with our teenager (plus a friend) and toddler and the rooms were perfect for our family, and also somewhat removed from the rest of the inn, so we could rest assured the exuberant 2 year-old would not disturb the... We chose the cobblestone inn mainly because it was affordable, and we're surprised by how clean and big the room was ( not to mention the huge bathroom and wonderful shower!). The inn owner was accommodating and upgraded our room. Location was perfect, a 5 minute walk from the ferry. My only regret was that I didn't stay longer than... More

Reading the previous reviews I have a hard time believing we stayed in the same place! Our room was on the first floor and the steps are narrow and steep and I worried that one of us would slip and break a hip. I advised my husband to step sideways and hold on as he climbed down. Younger persons do... More

Location, room, staff and owner - all were perfect. Oh, and the rate was super also. I can't claim to have stayed elsewhere, but after here, I wouldn't bother to look. Cute breakfast also.

We ended up staying at the Cobblestone on a whim after we fell in love with Nantucket and it was a great decision! As everyone knows, Nantucket can get expensive, but this was a fairly reasonable offer with great atmosphere in an unbelievable location. It was a straight shot down Federal Street, right near all the best Nantucket has to... More

My husband and I just stayed there in July. It exceeded our expectations! We paid a very fair price for the island of Nantucket and got a heck of a room ( more of a suite) for the price! Very, very clean, & LARGE room. We had #6. Had a full (comfortable bed) plus a twin, a living room area,... More
