“Very clean and adequate, but 50% upcharge for using credit card”

Nice location. Clean. Safe. Very noisy on weekends. soundproofing poor. Was told they accept credit cards and sign shows they did but when ready to check out they didn't want to accept. With multiple rooms to pay for it was impossible to have enough quetzals to pay bill. Plus ATM's were not to be used in Antigua due to problems... More

My second floor room was large, high ceilinged, very clean. Double doors opened to a tiny balcony with a beautiful view of the volcano. Good warm shower, working TV and mini fridge. On the downside, no one speaks English, no meals available on site, and they do not take credit cards. Saturday night was very noisy from the night clubs... More

We stayed here on our last night in Guatemala before returning to the US. The rooms were clean and spacious. There's a little private courtyard at the back of each room accessible by double doors.
