We have visited Antigua six years in a row. Our visits are typically for 11 or 12 days and we have stayed at five different and highly regarded hotels over this period. Beyond a doubt, Hotel Casa Santa is the best we have experienced (this year was our second stay at this hotel). The rooms are lovely, large and immaculate... More

We stayed here in November for 5 days, and were so glad that we did. From the moment that we walked through the doors, we were treated like royalty. The staff is so friendly, and the rooms are amazing. Fresh flowers on the table and candles in the fireplace when we walked in were amazing touches. Antigua is a beautiful... More

I had a fabulous stay at the Casa Santa Rosa. The staff was warm and attentive. The room was luxuorious, large, sumptuous, and clean. The gardens were beautiful. I liked the peace and quiet that I enjoyed there. I would highly recommend it. More

Everyone who works here is friendly and helpful. They were always willing to answer questions and make my stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms are spacious and clean, clean, clean! The gardens are lovely and very well kept! Definitely recommend staying here. More

I stayed with my mother and two small children for one night in this beautiful hotel. The garden was beautiful, and the hotel was very peaceful. The beds were extremely comfortable, there was bottled water in the room, the breakfast was wonderful and the staff was very helpful. The only drawback was Room #8, as the car park is right... More

As a Guatemalan, I have stayed in several hotels in Antigua for business and pleasure and Casa Santa Rosa is the best place I have stayed in so far. The hotel was previously owned by a carpenter who did a wonderful job of the wooden ceilings. As you can judge yourself by the pictures, the suites are very spacious and... More

I hesitate to write this review because I want the hotel to have room for us next year and more great reviews could jeopardize room availability, but to be fair it was the perfect start to our week of volunteer work at Lake Atitlan. The rooms are spectacular and the outside meeting spaces absolutely delightful. The staff are lovely and... More

Make sure that you are absolutely sure that you want to stay at this hotel. As soon as you make your reservation, they charge your credit card. We tried to cancel the reservation 2 months before our stay and they kept 45% of the funds. We decided to stay at El Convento Hotel and Suites instead. More

The hotel had all the amenities you could ask for and the decor was top notch. The bedding and bathrooms were spectacular, the coffee was great and the peacefulness of the grounds when we walked in made us feel like breathing a sigh of relief. We felt as though we had entered our very own Shangri-la. The staff was very... More

We stayed here two nights. The room we got (near entrance) was beautiful. The service was great, very attentive. The breakfast was delicious. I would recommend to anyone (but especially couples). More
