First off the staff at Casa Encantada are excellent, always on hand and nothing is too much trouble. The B&B itself is cosy and welcoming with a lovely communal living room and roof terrace where you have breakfast. It's perfectly positioned to explore Antigua as it's in close proximity to everything. The only thing that we found disappointing was our... More

Staying there three nights was very nice and convenient for all our walks up and down the City! Karen, at the reception, was very helpful when we arrived. They didn't gave us the room that we requested more than a month and a half before and put us in room #2. We didn't want to stay in room 1 or... More

I have been to Antigua, Guatemala three times in the past year, and have finally hit upon the perfect hotel. Casa Encantada is a boutique type, smallish hotel with the best of all possible worlds. Since it is affiliated with Hotel Antigua, guests have privileges to the pool, gym, sauna and steam room there, but truly, you will find yourself... More

Our family (two adults, our daughter and our 12 year old grandson) spent several days at this lovely hotel and were very pleased with our rooms and the caring staff. We were fortunate to have the "suite" on the terrace and a smaller room for our daughter and grandson. The Casa was formerly a private home and more like a... More

After a tiring trip from Lake Atitlan and a ride over Antigua's pretty but rough cobblestone streets, we felt relaxed the moment we walked into Casa Encantada. A sweet litttle boutique hotel with only ten rooms, it was more like someone's home than an inn. The living room is cozy and artfully decorated as are the very comfortable rooms and... More

We Spent a week at Casa Encantada while in Antigua and loved every minute of it. the hotel is small but very tastefully decorated. Our room was comfortable and spacious. The staff was friendly and breakfast was amazing! The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to parque central but if you're not a walker, take a Tuk-tuk (5 Q's)... More

We got an excellent deal on this boutique hotel from Lastminute.com. I doubt we would have booked at the highish regular rack rate. But it’s a jewel of a place and we liked it a lot – it has very much the colonial private house feel. And we didn’t have any of the issues which have cropped up in earlier... More

My husband and I stayed here for New Year's Eve in 2010. It didn't disappoint. Although our room was tiny, it was lovely and the atmosphere of the terrace and main rooms were cozy and classic. Breakfast was delicious and there is nothing better than eating a traditional Guatemalan meal with a view of the surrounding volcanoes. They invited their... More

We stayed four nights at Casa Encatada, a small hotel situated five blocks from the main plaza. It was a little further out than we felt comfortable with as far as walking to and from the plaza at night. The hotel is beautiful although very small - our room was really tiny, and we could not move around without bumping... More

This charming hotel has a real home feel with open fires and cozy beds out of a storybook tale. A lovely garden and breath taking views of the volcanos from the terrace. Hotel is in a nice quiet part of town within distance of everything closed to the museum, Church and ruins of San Francisco. The staff and service were great... More
