it is a nice place for sure but you can get much better rooms for much less even in antigua.
the patio is beautiful, the staff is helpful. overall it was a nice experience especially with the pick up service from guatemala city airport.

This is our second visit to Entre Volcanes (last time was a year and a half ago). The rooms are simple and clean and the building has a lovely colonial character with an interior courtyard open to above and a garden area and safe enclosed parking area in the back where you can access your car easily if needed. They...

I am a little late with posting this review, but I just came across a small gift the proprietors gave us when we left and it reminded me to write a review. Hotel Entre Volcanes is a really cute hotel right in Antigua. My group of three was in and out over 10 days as we were mountain biking around...

I am well traveled in Central America and know what to expect when staying at a boutique hotel such as this in the region. Entre Volcanes was far below the standard I would expect at any well-reviewed location in or around Guatemala. The outward appearance is of a nice, quiet home/hotel conversion with a center courtyard - typical for the...

We stayed at Hotel Entre Volcanes for three nights. They were very helpful in all respects. The day we had to leave a friend in the States emailed us requesting a special type of coffee. We had trouble finding it. A member of the staff knew where to find it and made sure we had it in our hands before...

The Posada has changed names and ended their affiliation with Camino Seguro (Safe Passage) They are now called Entre Volcanes. New website below.
I have stayed there 3 times, most recently Thanksgiving holiday and will be returning with a medical mission team to recover at the end of January 2010. Could not recommend it more highly.

My friend and I stayed here for 5 nights in September 2009. We loved everything about Posada Lazos Fuertes. Following the advice of other reviewers, we requested a room away from the street and preferably on an upper floor. Our room was incredibly clean and very quiet. We loved the friendly service at breakfast, the recommendations by local staff, the...

I recently spent a week volunteering with Safe Passage, the organization that works with the kids whose parents scavenge in the Guatemal City dump. The hotel met all of our needs, clean rooms, hot showers, breakfast, internet and bottled water available all day. Yes, it is noisy, but most centrally located hotels will be - that is life in Guatemala!...

Great experience, lovely little hotel and friendly staff. Also great hot showers (which we found there weren't many of during our travels). The street is a bit noisy but request a room farther from the street (room 15 was the one we got - it wasn't too bad on the noise). Also, the upstairs rooms don't have the musty smell...
