I recently spent a week volunteering with Safe Passage, the organization that works with the kids whose parents scavenge in the Guatemal City dump. The hotel met all of our needs, clean rooms, hot showers, breakfast, internet and bottled water available all day. Great experience, lovely little hotel and friendly staff. Also great hot showers (which we found there weren't many of during our travels). The street is a bit noisy but request a room farther from the street (room 15 was the one we got - it wasn't too bad on the noise). Also, the upstairs rooms don't have the musty smell... More
