The Palacio de Dona Leonor is a beautiful property with rooms that surround a lovely garden courtyard. The property is located in the heart of Antigua close to the center of town, so you can walk everywhere. Each room is very unique and different, so if you have the opportunity check them out. If you are visiting during Semana Santa,... More

We really enjoyed Palacio de Dona Leonor. The room was large and comfortable with a nice view of the garden in the courtyard. we did not eat at the restaurant but were very pleased with the referrals the staff gave us to other eateries. We would return again. The only downside is that they have no screens and there was... More

Just gorgeous. The grounds were wonderful, the staff, beyond helpful and the rooms were lovely. We had an amazing room with a balcony overlooking the street and I enjoyed sitting out there with our baby to look around. The main thing that made this place so excellent was the staff who went out of their way to help us and... More

I would love to be able to give this hotel 5 stars as I agree with so many of the other reviews here about it's great location, elegance, peaceful courtyard, outstanding restaurant and generally excellent service. However, the devil is in the details -- and in the follow up after leaving. To the latter point: I find it unacceptable under... More

For the ones who would look for a historic house with a true though discreet elegance, this is THE place. From the beautiful courtyard to the 12 rooms -all different and named after historical caracters- no detail has been neglected by the excellent interior designer who restored the Palacio. Right in the middle of the historic centre. Very good food,... More

This hotel shouldn't even be allowed to be called a hotel. hotel sounds too plain for what this place is. It is truly a palacio. The rooms are magic. The garden is eden. And its all affordable. I can't even tell you how great it felt to fall asleep under a dimly lit chandelier, staring up at the incredible ceiling.... More

Every room at the Leonor is a jewel. All are done in antiques and art, with different paint jobs and design. I like all of them. The best thing about the hotel is the breakfasts. Everything is delicious with elegant service, seating inside and also out in the patio, emellished with little edible flowers. Great coffee. Beautiful hot tub, but... More

The property is stunning - as well as convenient to excellent restaurants - the staff was extremely helpful and the gardener is a treasure. Yes, the gardener who takes extreme pride in his orchids and tropical plants - it was an honor to meet such a talented person. The property has sister hotels in Guatemala and will discount if staying... More

Without doubt the rooms are exceptionally well decorated, and the quality of interior design was superb. However, great decor isn't enough to have a great hotel. We stayed for four nights, in two of the master suites (Dona Leonor and Don Pedro), and we loved our rooms. However, the service was patchy at best, and there is much that could... More
