Like other reviewers we were part of a Cosmos / Archer tour group. The location at Zadar provided a natural place for a stopover between Slovenia and Dubrovnik. The hotel is not central but taxis can be used for an evening visit to Zadar. The room was basic but quite comfortable. Dinner was buffet style and reasonable enough although nothing... More

Stayed here as part of Cosmos Tour. It was very basic and remote from anything. Taxis required to get to the attractions of Zadar but very hard to get one for the return trip later in the evening. Zadar had so much to offer and the location of this hotel did not help. Rooms very basic. More

We stayed at this hotel, as part of a Cosmos Tour. I refuse to believe there aren't other equivalent options in Zadar which are closer to town. The room was overly warm with AC inadequate, an open window meant the room was noisy due to a perenially barking dog (which, in fairness, is not the hotel's fault...), the bed was... More

My Wife and I stayed in this Hotel on 8th sept while on an escorted tour of Croatia and Bosnia organized by Elite Travel for one night only. On checking in to this hotel we were on the second floor but to find our room it was like walking into a maze with all the corridors but we eventually found... More

There are not many good things that I can say about this hotel. We were walk-in guests, just looking for a night's accomodation after arriving late in Zadar. The hotel is ok for that purpose, but wildly over priced. We paid EUR 90 for a shabby room including breakfast. The room and the hotel would have been acceptable for half... More

First of all - the people at the hotel are wonderful. Helpful and friendly. They helped us to find a right room although it was a last moment reservation. This is a typical transit hotel, far from the center. Basic but clean rooms. Uncomfortable beds and I really mean it. If you have problems with your backbone, stay away from... More

I stayed at his hotel while on a Cosmos tour. The location is far from the old town where all the restaurants and sights are. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The room was clean but basic. Had I booked this hotel independently I would have not been happy with the standard of accommodation provided. I would not choose to stay... More

Another Cosmos tour gem with an interesting location on an industrial estate between a coach park and a garage. Hopeless air-conditionong and a very basic room. Food Ok but only just. Dining room very hot and airless. More

We added Zadar to our honeymoon itinerary at the last minute, and Hotel Porto was one of the few hotels in the city that had any rooms left. Our room was rather basic, but comfortable, quiet, and quite clean. We had a rental car with GPS (I highly recommend!), so we found the hotel rather easily, and found that the... More

Don't choose this hotel if you're going in summer, as the tiny air conditioning unit can't cope with the ample sized rooms. The hotel is relatively new and looks good but I couldn't overlook this factor as I barely slept. The dining room is also absolutely stifling. More
