The hotel was a great base to explore the city and the region we had two nights here and loved it. The room was well appointed and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and professional. The breakfast had a good selection and was fresh and well presented. The hotel is built on part of the old city walls and is... More

The Hotel Bastion was the most expensive place we stayed in a month long visit to Croatia. However, we chose it because it is the only hotel located in the old part of the city. Other hotels are a bus ride away and we wanted to be able to walk everywhere. It was worth the expensive price! The location was... More

Very good host and location for this luxury hotel. Room isn't so large but enough for short stay. Spa is ok altought a little bit expensive.( Find hamam, sauna, massage and skin care ) Breakfats is good. I advise stay in room with sea view ( port ) Then in the city there is so much places to visit like... More

Location was ideal; room was well equipped and quiet. Original room had defective shower; we were quickly moved to another one. Breakfast buffet offered wide range of choices. Food and wine were excellent; recommend dining on upper patio. Note: Smoking unfortunately is still allowed in outdoor areas of restaurants and cafes in Croatia. More

Built in an old fort at the tip of the old town peninsula, this charming little boutique hotel was the perfect base for touring Zadar. Although we were initially put off by the eastern European (Ruski?) decor and not-so-great lighting in the rooms, we were quickly won over by the friendly staff, the excellent restaurant, the lovely views of the... We stayed here or 1 night several days go. The staff was friendly and helpful The rooms were very clean and a decent size. They made good restaurant suggestions. The city of Zadar is adorable. The only drawback was that we arrived on Saturday AM. At 1PM, everything ( boutiques and shops all closed until Monday AM. More

I stayed here for work in December 2010 and really enjoyed my stay. The room was lovely, with a large comfortable bed, good sized tv, storage etc. The bathroom was adequate. The location is excellent, right in the middle of the city. The breakfast and lunch were also good. This is one of the better hotels I have stayed in... More

This is the only boutique hotel in downtown Zadar. My room was huge with all the amenities you could think of including a lovely view. It is a five minute walk to the archeological sites and a five minute walk to the port and boardwalk. The staff is very courteous. Restaurant is good, but too expensive and has no local... More

Beautiful room, in a great location. Bus from airport leaves you minutes from hotel, room we had was very funky, something different from your standard hotel. Just a little bit on the pricey side even for the quality you get ! More
