Located on the banks of the river and walking distance to the city's sights. Clean, WI-FI in rooms, an elevator. My biggest problem was the omnipresent cigarette smoke, permeating the lobby and restaurant, seeping into the room - we had to keep the windows of the room open at all times as the smell was noticeable. Breakfast is stocked early... More

I was staying as part of a group when snow hit Mostar as never before. The city closed down but the staff did what they could to keep us looked after and fed when there was little food available elsewhere. More

We ended up at the Bristol after Pellegrino claimed they did not have a record of our booking. We went with some trepidation, but the hotel was great. We had a good room with a view over the river, and the service was professional and polite. Certainly the Bristol did not have the character that we saw at the Pellegrino,... More

We were on a month-long tour of The Adriatic and Albania/Macedonia with Adventures Abroad. It is difficult to rate a hotel that is surrounded by bombed out buildings. Both our room and bathroom were large and clean. The air conditioning worked once I got tutoring on how to operate it by the very nice desk clerk. The most surprising thing... More

We booked through booking.com who for some reason go through another agency with a very tough cancellation policy.. We had booked for 4 nights but our room was basic--both bedside lights weren.t working and the shower head holder was broken. We asked if we could only stay for 2 nights but were told that we would get no refund so... More

Pros: Good view from top floor. Comfortable beds and bed linen. Quiet at night despite being on main road. Cons: Air-conditioning out of order. Newspaper stuffed into what appeared to be a hole in the wall (Room 501). Very mediocre breakfast and service -- we were there 75 minutes before closure -- no attempt to update the hot dishes. I stayed one night in Hotel Bristol. My room was a basic one. It had a good view of Mostar and Neretva River: Room, toilet, sheets and towels were all clean. Mini bar was almost empty. The food was OK. The open buffet breakfast wasn’t very rich. The best side of the hotel was being near to the old town.... More

Staff friendly and helpful; bed comfortable; bathroom clean. Handy location for the old town. A friend living in Mostar had booked this for me as a safe place for a female travelling alone to stay. I imagine it would be lovely in summer with its large outdoor patio overlooking the river. More
