My friend, my brother and I stayed at Dibai House last November and we can only recommend it to other travellers. It is a bit difficult to find but then you will be surprised to be catapulted into another century. It is a UNESCO heritage site so you will be mesmerized by the restored vaults, ceilings and patios. The rooms... More

You are like living in a house of a friend of yours. In fact it is! You will soon make good friend with the owner Sufi after meeting her. Rooms and facilities are basic but it fits the atmosphere of Esfahan the best. No wi-fi nor spa tub but you will not care. After all you come to Esfahan for... More

Just got home from a lovely stay in Iran including 2 nights at Dibai House. We (my 74 year old mother and I) were the only guests and got the full attention of Sufi, the owner, who was ever so helpful and often went an extra mile to make our stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Indeed the place... More

Starting with the ups, Alale (a Spanish-Iranian girl, the owner's daughter) is a phenomenal person. She knows what tourists like and she knows how to make them feel home. The house is beautiful and calm, some of the common rooms are incrdibly beautiful, although there is no common court-yard like in most of the other typical Iranian houses. The breakfast... More

A beautiful traditional house, running by a charming and very helpful lady. It’s very quite (no children permitted in the house) and the location is convenient (near the bazaar and the Imam square). Highly recommended! More

We stayed at Dibai House for two nights in early March. We knew Dibai House was difficult to locate, but even with a local taxi driver, a small map and the driver making two calls it took some 15 minutes to locate. Only a kind local showing the driver/us the way got us there! We were immediately shown to our... More

just like any thing else in iran, a dash of beauty and so many impracticality. the house was very cute and in a cool neighborhood, break fast was nice and simple. but beds not so comfortable and the bathrooms were not very practical, overall was a nice stay but they can improve it a lot more.... I'd highly recommend all travellers to stay at Dibai House. We were welcomed by Sophie from the point with stepped in - with a hot pot of tea! Sophie also assisted us with booking our onward trip to Tehran, and taught us how to get around in Esfahan. It is a house with interesting nooks for eating (the excellent) breakfast,... More
