Gorgeous hotel and beautiful courtyard and garden. One of the best hotels in Iran. Architectural style dating back to the 18th century. The garden courtyard is a wonderful place to spend your evenings, sitting outside to enjoy a light meal, listening to Persian music (not live) and people watching. The garden courtyard is packed with people, sitting around talking and... More

I recently spent three weeks touring the beautiful country of Iran. My trip ended up in Isfahan and I stayed at the Abbasi hotel for three nights. When I entered the hotel I was amazed. I felt like a Persian Queen entering her Palace. The ceiling sparkled like gems because of its mirrored tiled ceiling and, huge crystal chandelier and... More

We visited beautiful Esfahan for 3 days and stayed as Abbasi Hotel. From the outside, the facade does not look very impressive but the whole setting changed when we entered its courtyard. It is just beautiful with flowers and all the trees were bearing fruits - oranges, pears, persimmon. But guests were not allowed to pluck the fruits. Breakfast was... More

We stayed in beautiful Esfahan for 2 nights a few weeks ago, and unfortunately stayed at the Abbasi Hotel. The best part of the entire hotel is the internal courtyard - beautifully restored, lovely gardens, and at twilight is a delight to walk/ sit it. That is where the good things end. Whilst the hotel lobby looks quite nice, the... More

Excellent location between the bridges and the old city. A very beautiful garden to enjoy where you can drink your tea or wander around! Rooms are nice and big although you need to walk a lot if you have a room away from the main building! Service is good and breakfast is good also. More

It was my second stay at Abbasi and since my first visit in 2005, I saw a huge improvement of the service. The hotel is still the same, Abbasi is one of the most beautiful hotel of Iran and perhaps even in the world. The interior garden is beautiful and carefully maintained. The tea room located in the garden is... More

The Abbasi hotel is beautiful and deserves the accolades. Built in the late 1600s as a hotel (for caravans) this hotel offers every modern amenity a western tourist is accustomed to with all the hospitality Iranians are famous for. I recommend you ask for an updated room on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the courtyard. Enjoy afternoon tea... More

We stayed three nights in one of the garden facing rooms and were very comfortable over that period. The gardens are lovely and on some nights the music continued on late but it never bothered us even though we had the windows open. Many people, locals and visitors stay elsewhere and simply pay a small fee to sit at a cafe... More

Arrived at Esfahan stayed at another hotel and just visited the Abbasi just to check it out since we heard that it cost an arm and a leg to stay there..as I entered the Abbasi and continued to the Inner Garden ..we were speechless...the garden was so beautiful it looked as if it came right out of 1001 nights stories..I...
