Hotel is pretty dated (but not old) and basic. However, it is a good location. A room on the river side is absolutely a must, though! Room we had was big and reasonably comfortable. Breakfast is unimaginative but plentiful if you like boiled eggs, dates and tomatoes. Helpful and generally friendly on the desk. Wifi in the lobby, no charge. More

Hotel Melal is situated by the river about 100m away from the Khaju bridge, shopping centre and about 700m from Imam Khomeiney Square. The rooms are good, the staff friendly and helpful and the restaurant is good by Iranian standards (getting anything other than a kebab can be hard work).
