Very Boring Hotel, Small Pool, Poor Menu. Just a Dud Hotel i think.
Luckily it was only for 12 hours, was staying in the shangri La Hotel on shaykh Zayed Rd, That's A 5 star Hotel.

Beautiful hotel, located very close to the airport. Rooms were exceptionally comfortable, very nicely appointed, and the staff was very customer oriented. Cabs are readily available, and downtown Dubai is a short, 15 minute drive. Take one down to the Qamerdeen District at night and walk around. Beautifully lit, very clean, and there are exceptional restaurants.

We are just back from a weeks holiday at this hotel. What can I say? Perfect. lovely. fabulous - the list is endless. From check in to check out (twice for us as Emirates overbooked our flight) the service was excellent. We will definately be back soon!

I stayed in this hotel for one night prior to a daytime flight back to the UK and was very surprised taht they didn't have a shittle to the airport (5 mins), plenty of taxis avaialbel of course and not very expensive - maybe £4.
