We spend 2 nights during our honeymon. Very close to the city, we went directy from the airport. Rooms are amazing, very cozi. The staff is very polite and friendly. The pool is awasome. We went to a camel ride, was ok. Play with the falcons nexto to the pool, take some great pictures. The hotel seams to be a... More

We were on holiday staying with friends and eat out several times. We went to the evening “Arab” great show and great food complimented by fantastic service. Great dinner in a great place. My wife has to eat a wheat free diet and the staffs were very knowledgeable and cooked her meal to order. See photo! Would I go back... More

We used this hotel for a long weekend break & is about 45 minutes from the main hub of the City. The hotel has a simple rustic charm & the rooms are comfortable, clean and well maintained & they have a great bathroom with a huge bath tub. Great pool, relaxing bar & a small choice of restaurants though beware... More

Spent our Silver Wedding Anniverday here and it was superb. Very hot and this was only May but it was exceptional weather for the time of year. Rooms are good size but the bed was huge and very comfortable. All fitted out t look old and rustic, especially the bathrooms and it all adds to the experience. Staff were ultra... More

Fantastic weekend in gorgeous atmospheric setting. The "village" looked like a genuine Arabic settlement, with no end of nooks and crannies to sit and relax in, both inside and outside. The pools were great, again lots of places to just sit and relax in the water with friends without feeling crowded, even though the hotel was full. The service from... More

What a treat for us - we decided to have a couple of 'kid-free' nights to celebrate our birthdays and chose Bab al Shams Desert Resort. Our room was absolutely beautiful and very quiet even though it overlooked the pool other than a our a/c which was a little noisy and switched on and off all night. The pool was... More

For me this was indeed a dream come true, I always wanted to experience of a REAL DESERT RESORT and I have to say that I was not disappointed. This was truly a magical place, quite different to what I have experienced before (in fact that’s what I was looking for…). The resort was located away from the city ,... More

A stay of a very restful 3 days was magic after a hectic two and half weeks in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The Staff, food, environment and service was second to none. The whole resort had a perfect "middle eastern" flavor about it and the rooms were no exception. As a senior solo female traveler i would most definitely stay there again.A... It was a wonderful weekend - recreative for adults and children. The pool area is great. The staff was very nice and attentive. The kids (2&6) had a great time. The desert restaurant Al Hadeera was a great experience. The food was excellent and the show exciting. Overall an unforgetable weekend. More

We have had day pass only in this hotel for a desert trip, so cannot judge the rooms and sleep quality. It was our base for jeep ride and other activities, such as camel ride and falcon show. The environment was very nice and clean and the service was very good and we have spent a very nice day there.... More
