I found the location to be good, because it is away from the noisy main area. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The air conditioning worked well, but the other areas of the hotel do not have air conditioning. Breakfast was basic but convenient. I took advantage of the massage in your room at a great price, which was... More

My arrival in Siem Reap didn't start well. The tuktuk driver from the hotel was about 40 minutes late picking me up from coach station, and when I'd finally arrived, although the staff were welcoming and offered me cold drinks and a wet towel to refresh myself, I felt a bit overwhelmed when they began to tell me about all... We arrived at the Wooden Angkor after a very long bus ride in the evening. The staff was very nice, helpful and gave us some good information about the temples. The rooms are clean and cheap. The roof-top restaurant served good food and is a nice place to stay for a while.

The staff at Wooden Angkor are very helpful and really friendly. They make you feel very welcome and make sure you enjoy your stay. The location is ideal as it isn't far from Pub Street and markets. The rooms are great value - very clean and a decent size. There's a rooftop restaurant which is reasonably priced and serves Cambodian... More

If this hotel had a pool I would have given it 5 stars. The location is very good as you can walk to the street market and Pub Street and the hotel is very clean with pleasant rooms. They serve breakfast on the roof deck and it was one of the better breakfasts I had while in Asia.

Staff very friendly . Great location and next to the excellent restaurant Sugar Palm. Love the room, bathtub a little bit strange but who could complain for that price. In general, I would return to that hotel

My friend and I planned to go to Cambodia. It was October 2012, when we got our chance to avail a ticket to visit Siem Reap. As I researched, I learned that there are many hostel/hotels from economical to expensive one. Since not all the time we can afford to stay at a 3 star hotel, we grabbed the opportunity... More

Another great TA find. They are not all wrong. Rooms are charming, clean, and comfy. Staff is stellar and ready to help with any recommendations, bookings, or taxis. Pick up from the airport is free via tuk tuk and an awesome way to start a trip into Siem Reap. The road in front of the hotel is the worst part... More

This hotel set the bar quite high during my Cambodia trip with a friend. We arrived past 9 in the evening quite tired but welcomed with lovely cold lemongrass tea, which I could drink all day -- very refreshing! The rooms were very clean, and were cleaned so thoroughly every day. The rooftop was a great place to have breakfast,... More
