Really? There are really 53 nicer places to stay in Siem Reap? This tells me that these rankings are spurious; it's not about popularity, because this is a lovely hotel. Quiet, beautiful, great service, nice room. Fair price. What's not to like? So if I give Angkor Village Resort FIVE stars, will it then become the 50th most popular place... More

We spent 4 nights this January in this fantastic hotel planted a lush garden around. Deserved its name Botanical Garden, we felt like being in a rainforest lodge indeed! Rooms were large enough in 2-storey woodden hoses, terrace led to the approx. 300 m long swimming corridor in the garden, where bush stems bent over the water. Swimming under woodden... More

Perfect hosts, can't compliment them enough, free one hour massage, free cocktail as I am the highest grade in their membership program, beautiful gardens, excellent beds, staff superfriendly and helpful, such a day and night difference with my 1st night in SR. I would definitely go here again, the only slight downside was the quality of the food but as... More

We liked the pool and the little boats to paddle around - a good time when the fam is templed out. Breakfast was about average. Very buggy. The lobby area (wifi is only available here) is nicely decorated and there is a polar-level air conditioned room with games and a desk and comfier chairs across from the reception and concierge... The plus: - superb architecture and oasis of greenery - great location on the road to the temples and close to town - rooms and bathrooms comfortable, all facing the lush and well designed garden and pool - great pool area - good massages and nice spa - great restaurant and bar settings, surrounded by a moat with fish and... Angkor Village Resort makes it worth to visit Siam Reap only for the sake of staying in it! It is an elegant traditional cambodian palace in the middle of a botanical garden. The resort is surrounded by beautiful ponds and there is an amazing swimming pool running through the area having a form of a river . The rooms are... More

I know how you feel when you read all the negative reviews before coming to this resort. We just arrived here yesterday and are happy to be here...I'd like to address a few issues that concerned us before we came. 1. wifi - there is free wifi in the lobby and the restaurant with decent speed. 2. pool -the grayish... I really have mixed feelings about the Angkor Village Resort and can’t help feeling that numerous corners are cut. The staff are pleasant and polite, and before we left, we were presented with a picture of us in a frame as a memorial which I think is a very nice gesture. Somehow, the staff lack a sense of urgency and... More

We stayed one night as they were fully booked for Chinese New Year. It was a tropical paradise and the service was outstanding. The landscaping made one feel as though you are in a rain forest that has been altered for everyone's enjoyment. At check- in we were seated and provided with cool mint scented towels to wipe off the... More
