The Sydney Angkor Hotel in Siem Reap can be described as a middle class hotel. We were here at Christmas and paid for a double room with air conditioning $ 15. There was not much going on, the staff was friendly to us. They allowed us to use the internet at the front desk and let wash our dirty laundry... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was basic but fine. The service was good and helpful in arranging our tours and tuk tuks, the restaurant had surprisingly good breakfasts (yay banana pancakes), and it was not too far away from the night market and Pub Street. The rooms were comfy enough and had A/C, and there was internet... More

Went for a couple of nights while visiting Angkor Wat. They include free pick-up at the airport (which was organized, reserved and confirmed by them) but they didn't show up, we just resorted in taking a taxi (7 USD fixed fare) instead of contacting them, the reception person fell out of the sky as they had "forgot" (in Cambodia they... When we went the hotel was not busy and we were able to get a discount on our room. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was good, but busy. There is free internet and the tuk-tuk drivers at the hotel are great! The rooms are good for the money - there is cable, a/c or fan and the rooms are... More

Excellent value for the money you spend. Our room was clean and the bathroom worked well. A good location on a side street a short walk from the night bazaar and the centre of town. Convenience stores very handy as well as bike rentals, both electric (which are brilliant) and standard push bikes.

When we planned for our visit to Cambodia- we wanted to make sure that we get to see the maximum of Siem Reap and its famous temples. While we splurged on the travel, we laid low on accommodation and other luxuries. We had a fabulous guide, Mr. John Teng, who had taken enormous pains to make sure we did not... More

We had a great stay at Sydney Angkor hotel in Siem Reap and for the price of the rooms they were great value. The staff were friendly and the rooms were very clean. We would definately stay here again if we return. The hotel is in a safe and quiet location. The hotel is only a short walk from the... More

I have had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel and although the rooms do lack a little character, I think it is fantastc value for money. The rooms are very clean, the staff very firendly and the location good as well. If I was to come to Siem Reap again then I would have no hesitation in staying at... More
